*Flowers bring an attraction to the earth since Genesis as it presents their glow, beauty, and functions. It's always been used in several religions, outside and inside our houses as an embellishment, and can accommodate everyone's dejected moods. It represents honor and joy. It provides comfort to the sick people and restores their spirit. We should always take care our flowers. *

### Rules to Arrange Flowers Properly

1. Emphasis. It goals design of the focal point in the accentuated area. It is essential to concentrate on refining the design of the focal point as it is our house guest's central focus on the first glance.

2. Balance. This is a self-supporting pattern that is finely designed and substantial. We should do both automated and visual balancing in forming an arrangement. Be sure to suit the container of the flower vase to the size and weight of the flowers to succeed mechanical balance.

3. Proportion. If the floral arrangement is done, it must be like a nest looking. The size, color, texture, and shapes are relevant that shows a connection with each other.

4. Rhythm. The flower in bouquet must have lines, textures, and colors that shows the feeling of the motion instead of an arrangement.

5. Harmony.The bouquet should be pleasing in the eyes to glance. To do it, shapes, colors, textures, and sizes suit to one another.

6. Unity. The flowers should be gathered together to look. The separation that happened should be unnoticeable.

Newspaper to keep the table clean
Basin with water
Soap for washing the vases
Cloth for drying the vases
Short knife
Sharp Scissors
Flower vase/bowl/flower basket/cornucopia
Flower wire floral foam, ribbons, chicken wire, needlepoint holders (optional)

### Step by Step Process

1. Bring the vases and flowers to the kitchen to budget time and effort and to easily dispose of.
2. Cover the table with newspaper to avoid messing it up, gathering the waste, and to prevent staining.
3. Bring the vase to the sink and soap. Rub the cloth to drain.
4. Fill the water in the vase.
5. Wash the flower stems and cut depending on the length you want. Remove the dried leaves and petals. In this way, the flower will look attractive and there is no contamination of the other leaves.
6. Trim the stem of the flower to slanting style and put to the vase. Stems should reach the water to see it fresh longer. Slanting is an easier absorption.
7. The stems of the flowers should have diverse lengths.
8. Arrange position of the flowers in the vase.
9. Bring the flower vase to your table. Flower color must be opposite to your wall. If your wall is white, flowers should have a dark color.
10. If your room has another potted flower, bring it to the kitchen and water. Then put in a tray or antique saucer. In this way, flowers will not be spilled on the table and they still look beautiful.

Caution:Stay away the flowers and vases to one member of the family who has a pollen allergy.
