I'm Marty, and I think I might get addicted to Steemit #introduceyourself

Hi I'm Marty! I live in a cute beach town, that is not so little anymore in southeast Florida. I have 2 young children, and my husband and I love to travel. Living and existing each day, I reward myself with a "new project." Whether it be my own or a project for someone else. I am definitely not domestic goddess status, but these projects usually involve furnishings, organization, and most of all wood! I do love wood. To build things, to refurbish things, and old wood pieces are where it's at for me. Two of my favorites I've done for children: Upgraded a "mud kitchen" for the kids for outdoor imaginary play....And my son's toy train chest, that was a grain seed bin for animal feed (probably horses).

Traveling the country and abroad, my number one thing I do, mostly on my own so I can think, is to visit vintage markets, antique stores and explore architecture in historic areas. I am fairly young, but my old soul is delighted and nourished learning about historic elements.

By trade, I am a real estate agent. I love to help my clients, especially in the interior of their homes, stage and come up with design plans for folks moving into new homes. Having been through many renovations, cosmetic to blow outs, I surprise myself with my new ideas and inspiration for interior spaces.

As my audience, you will see a lot of my own home, and the interior craziness we have going on. We bought our home 1 year and half ago, and we are still working on design plans for renovation.
