However, ”better days ahead” like they use to say and I have to be optimistic about it as advised by my psychotherapists who has been so helpful to me for this whole bad times.

Hopefully, him and his staffs would introduce themselves in the blog much later and would be sharing some of their practical recovery procedures that works for depression..., he owns one big institution both in Nigeria, UK and Canada.

Wait a minute, this is not what I want to talk about now but to share my nominees for the 2023 Steemit award.

Ofcourse, I can’t miss participating in this yearly interesting initiative.

I have many users to choose in some of these categories but I better stick to the rules...one user per category.

I would also like to suggest that maybe in the future, artists (music artist and drawing artists) should also be included in these categories since most users might not understand that they are part of the authors.

These ones also make the blog very interesting through their artistic impressions and creativities.

So who would be my nominees...?

This is one of the hardest question so far..., and trust me,and it's just so difficult to mention just one person...but again, I am not forced to do it.

I am doing it with free mind and even a more relaxed one.

Best Author

In this category, I considered many factors and one of such factors includes authors who carry out their activities with passion and not because they are desperate for the dollar bill, if you know what that means.

So my nominee for this category would go to one UK user named @the-gorilla who has been writing some interesting articles.

New Users might be confuse if he is just a blogger or a developer, but I believe old users knows he is both...

His articles are always rich and entertaining and he has in-depth knowledge of any subject he chooses to write in the blog.

He writes quality and most relevant publications that entertain, educate or even warn users in his own unique style, such that most users who appreciate good contents want to read his publications always.

One thing I have noticed so far and also appreciate in some of his publications are correctly spelt words, great structured grammars and well organized sentences, maybe because he is from the English background,....oops, I should’ve known.

Though he doesn’t post every seconds like the new generation bloggers but his few contents pull a lot of engagement from other authors which in general makes a good read and I feel he deserves that award of the best author.

Best Contributor to the Community

In this category, I would choose @pennsif from the UK. I wouldn’t know why my first two nominees is going to the UK users.., maybe because my two names starts with the letter U. Anyway, that’s just by the way, I’m just kidding...

But I am choosing pennsif because of his constant contributions/ supports to the community growth...,supports to some well meaning projects both online and off-chain .

His recent launching of the Multisig Wizard which was designed for communities in the blog has proven to be outstanding. To me, this is one of the best tool that is developed this year for the Steemit communities and I feel such contributor deserves some accolades.

Best Community

For this category, I would happily choose Deutsch Unplugged!

This community has a very little number of bloggers but with high quality contents and outstanding engagement even without the engagement challenge, that’s unique and worth recognition.

They maintain their uniqueness when it comes to steemexclusive materials. And their sustainability is not far fetch because they understand what a community is all about.

I am always impressed at their weekly game/activity called “SCRABBLE”. This has proven to be one of the best, engaging and sustainable activities in the blog with less or even zero aim of rewards from the partakers. At this point, I think it’s for passion and that’s what makes blogging even more interesting.

I’ve never heard any abuse case from there before because unwanted materials from vagrants are always spot on in few minutes and kick off immediately.
