SteemitBlog made a really big effort at the end of 2018 to make like two posts updating us on what was going on.
Now it has been two weeks since any post of substance again (using the term substance loosely in general when referring to steeemitblog). Time to wake up , New Year, etc !! :

It's the highlight of my day!! Every time I log in and see that post "pinned" to the top of my feed....
Steemit is taking on water very quickly and people are jumping ship just as fast. Some major changes need to be implemented in 2019 if steemit is to have a hope in bells chance of growing and becoming the platform it has th potential to be.

I hear that. I'm ignorant on details, and I'm glad there is more open discussion, but it still seems like patches and band-aids. Doesn't feel like much to hang your hat on and feel good about still.
