I am glad to see more and more posts on the topic everywhere. I also got into the materialistic world for a while and each belonging required me to take care of it, to make a room for it. I quickly realized that I was putting a lot of effort to clean and to tidy my home because of the stuff I had. I devoted my weekends to this (because I can't live in a chaos) and instead of starting the week relaxed and inspired, I was exhausted. I have always been a minimalist at heart and it was time for me to remember how I want to live my life. So I did. I gave all the stuff I didn't use or like to people who really need them and I was really satisfied. So now, I can clean my whole apartment just for an hour or two and it's such a relief! There's more time for me to spend with my friends and family, I have more money to invest in experiences like traveling, theatre, concerts or going to yoga classes. And I definitely feel happy.
