Me, me, me, me! Well, the gift that I want from St. Nick is for the voting bot and the vote services proliferating in Steemit to have some kind of a give back to Steemit kind of thing starting this Christmas. A kind of corporate social responsibility for them since they got rich from zero to $$$ in the platform just by convincing small frys to invest with them. Some, not all, are ridiculously not true to their promise. Like I have one which I prolly have 13-20 Steems worth of share with them and their bot votes me once a day with a 0.004 upvote. And even funnier is that the money I invested is not refundable. Imagine they get more from curation from me since they are now a huge account and I get 0.004 a day from them. If I have held on to my Steems than gave it to them, I could have probably compounded it to 3 digits by now. Hahaha! I am not complaining, I am actually trying to sound funny. Hahaha! And if St. Nick will indeed read this, while he thinks about this idea, I hope he considers checking these voting services if they are delivering promises and also, make the bidbots do the corporate social responsibility thing, too. Like make them do contests regularly, charity or promo event. That way, even if no Steemit Whales would want to share upvotes anymore, at least the people who earn so much through their vote bots and bitbots will be able to make this community thrive.

That is my wish. I am not saying all voting services are awfully unfair like the example I gave above but MOST of them are. This is my wish and idea to help Steemit. I hope St. Nick and @ned could read this. I love Steemit though I earn close to nothing here, I do my best to make it a better place, maybe it's time those people who do less but earn more give back to the platform that made them have more. It sounds just right, isn't it?

Have a jolly holidays ahead and may Steemit's 2019 be better than 2018.

We live in Valencia which is south of Catalonia, there they have an odd tradition I want to tell you about. Meet Tió de Nadal aka Caga Tió "Shit Log". He comes out on December 8th and kids are offering nuts and dry fruits every day and then covering him up with a blanked to keep him warm until December 24th. On Christmas eve they're beating it with a stick and sing:

Shit log,
Shit nougats,
Hazelnuts and mató cheese,
If you don’t shit well,
I’ll hit you with a stick,
Shit log!

And voila under the blanket there is everything they asked for!

What I wish from Nikolaus is to give a little something to the @travelfeed curation team who've been curating away every single day since February without asking for anything in return.

They sell it at the Asian store lololol hahaha nope I havent tried it. I can’t even handle the spicy ramen that they sell haha what more with the nuclear one!!! Just imagine tasting nothing but a burning tongue!!!! Dear Saint Nicholas, I have been a very very good boiii this year, I made sure to always place my cup on the coaster just like mama told me to.
I wish for more good boys and good girls come to my hospital, so I dont have to prick them with BIG needles, haha!

Dear St. Nicholas, I 'd like to recieve a separate land for the Welcome Wagon mates, so we don't use shipping any time we send presents to each other. This place should be government-free as @anutu prefers it like this, also be sure there is an abundance of monkeys for @dreemsteem's project and a lot of off-road trails for the @xcountrytravelers. A brave office assistant for the rest of us to deal with our mess will also do. Have a funny festive season!

Another cute and funny badge to have on the board. Let's see... What I could wish from St. Nicholas? Firstly, I can only hope I won't find a nice twig in my shoes. 😂
Usually my kids are those with high demands during the whole month of December, I'm just trying to comply. But this year I decided to be a kid again and wish for something. So, in my pair of boots I would like to find a nice pair of red stilettos. Why is this a funny gift? Because I don't wear stilettos very often and red is definitely not my color. But these shoes.... I must have them. I won't buy them though, just hoping St. Nicholas or Santa will read this comment. 😂

I used to have a donkey, as you can see on this picture.

But it may vary, depending where I have to bring gifts.
I must admit that I am sometimes accompanied by a white horse.
I even had the help of more unexpected animals.

I also want STEEM price to rise. Unfortunately, it's not something I can carry in my hood to offer.

An @arcange made me smile because Ole Nick is at it again! He's never stopped!

This is not actually part of the competition, this story: as a child we had a dog. He was a stray that had been following my Dad around (he ran a botanical garden and walked them, several times a day) and then he arrived at the door step. My dad, contrary to popular opinion, was an old softy, so he didn't let us chase him away. The rest, as they say, is history. So Nicky arrived - on the 23rd of December. And you know, now, why he was so named.

I have been ill for the biggest partof the past 1.5 years so less chance to misbehave. This means (I am Dutch) Zwarte Piet (black Pete) won't give me a free trip to Spain again, no "roe" and no salt (it's salt not coal you get if you haven't been good).

I guess a good health is not in there for me, neither is less pain 😟. Great Steemians did give me a present already so I can write, post, resteem and reply again :)
I only have one wish left over (for me and my kids) since years: I would love to have my own Zwarte Poet, to help me out, fun for the kids as well. They are always so happy. By the way: we put a shoe at the chimney (or somewhere else) from the moment on St. Nicholas did arrive (3 weeks earlier) plus a carrot (no hay) and the wishinglist, drawing for the Saint and he is not on a donkey but has a horse called: Americo.

December 5th it is presents in the evening for everyone (children and adults) and the rhymes are there as well (it is about bad habits etc) and ofcourse the chocolate letter! Great to read about him over here. I wonder what kind of present is hiding under the pillow (something that can not break?).

I live a simple country life so it's not in me to want too much. Once you have your family and health it's a good year by any account.

That and a lotto win to start a new life in my malibu summer home with my 25 year old gold digging wife and multi million dollar car collection. Now It might be hard to fit all of that though the chimney so if you could just send me the winning ticket I'll even help you out and sort the rest myself.

Dear santa, this year I have been a good boy and for that reason I would like to ask for something.
I would like steemit to be a platform where everyone would be rewarded for their effort.
A platform where the whales help the small fish that start.
Where you look more at work, instead of who did the work.

I'm sorry that this comment has nothing to do with that root post, but I have an issue:

If you take a look at my SteemIt page, you can see that I recently wrote 4 Posts in less than 1 or 2 hours, but i still haven't got the Daily Author reward I think I deserved.

For the first few days SteemitBoard not registering my achievement I thought I just needed to wait a day or 2, but when I typed this comment, these four posts were already 7 days old:

If that's important, my time zone was Berlin, Germany.

Please reply if the issue described above got resolved.

I reported that issue by commenting under whatever SteemIt Article from @steemitboard is the latest, because it was logical to me.
If there is a better place to report issues like this, please make me aware of them, also by replying to this comment.

Dear St. Nicholas, this year I behaved better than last year, so I think I can ask for more things:

1.- I want to graduate from college next year (I don't have anything left to finish).
2.- I would like to learn how to move with the BTC so as not to cry every time its price falls.
3.- I want to win many STEEMs to raise the power of my account.
4.- I want to have the best SteemMonster cards to beat all those who have beaten me with advantage (yes, an evil wish).

As you can see, my wishes are not very complicated, so I hope to see the tree with plenty of gifts, thank you very much and see you in December.
