A GREAT GREETING TO THE WHOLE COMMUNITY OF STEEMIT !!

I have prepared a drawing of which I have represented a great iconic character of the famous manga series "DRAGON BALL" on an old 5 bolivars note.

Then among my points to highlight, is what would be to inform those who read my post, everything about the film, the figures, characters or other elements that are represented in my work.

DRAGON BALL

Dragon Ball is a manga which was written and illustrated by Akira Toriyama. Its opening day was November 20, 1984. It has been 34 years in which this series has become a benchmark of the anime / manga culture worldwide.

Its plot is based on the adventures of Goku, a saiyan warrior, whose purpose is to protect the Earth from other beings that want to exterminate humanity. As the chapters go by, meet other characters that help you in this goal.

The name of the series arises by some magical spheres that when assembled invoke a dragon that grants desires. Many times they are useful both for Goku and his friends and for humanity.

1. The Monkey King.

He is a primate who practices martial arts. In addition, he had a staff that is indestructible and travels in a flying cloud.

2. Very particular names.

Toriyama has been known for putting strange names to the characters. In almost all cases they are puns or references with food.
For example, the "Saiya" of "Saiyajin" comes from "Yasai" meaning "vegetables" in Japanese. Because of that, all warriors have related names: Vegeta is (vegetable, Kakarotto is carrot, Broly is broccoli, Raditz is radish, Nappa is cabbage

3. The voice of Goku.

The voice of Goku in Japanese is interpreted by Masako Nozawa, who is a woman who is 82 years old. He not only did this voice when the character was a child, but also after he grew up.

4. Gods of destruction.

They are 12 gods of destruction and their names are inspired by alcoholic beverages:
Champa, it's champagne.
Arak, the same as this drink of Arab origin is called here.
Take it off, it's tequila.
Mule, better known as Mosco. It's Moscow Mule, a vodka cocktail.
Jerez, it's Spanish wine.
Iwen, it's an altered form of Wine, or wine.
Geen, it's gin.
Vermoud, it's a type of wine.
Rumoosh, it's "Rum" or rum.
Cider, is the fermented apple drink.
Quitela, it's in Spanish tequila.
Liquir, it's liquor.
Beerus, it's "Beer" or beer. *

On the other hand, the character representing this manga series is...

GOKU

Link

His real name is Son Goku.

He is a Martial Artist, he also cultivates radishes and is also a Security Guard.

Goku appears as a child with monkey tail and superhuman strength, and later it is revealed that he is an alien from the "saiyan" race.

Goku comes from the planet Vegeta on Mount Paozu.

On the other hand the materials and the process for the realization of this present drawing is the following ..

  • A ticket, on this a certain part is chosen and we begin to make the sketch with pencil 3B this measure so that our sketch can stand out and be distinguished with the lines and elements that the ticket already has

  • After making the sketch, to ensure our lines a little better before applying the color, we mark with a pencil either blue or black ink

  • Then I started to apply paints to the cold with a fine brush of triple zero (000), paint a flesh-colored, light orange base, then I continued giving details by applying shadows and lights

  • And finally I made the outline with black paint and with blue paint I made a small background stuck to what is the outlined, to create a contrast and highlight a little more the figure on this ticket.

Result.
