I'm happy to welcome you to Steemit Comment Challenge Number #24!
The prize structure will be the same as the last round, but I will increase the SBD payout from 5 SBD to 15 SBD. 1st prize will consist of 10 SBD + 1 week 200 SP delegation and the runner-up prize will be 5 SBD + a 1 week 200 SP delegation.

PLEASE NOTE - My view of bid bots has recently changed. For any long-term gains on the platform, I believe bid bots will have a negative impact. If I think about myself, I'm less likely to upvote someone's post that has big bid bot votes and I believe I'm not the only one feeling like that. I want to help people on this platform, but if they spend money on bid bots on all their posts I don't feel they are in need of my help. In addition, many people get a negative ROI, so it is basically a double loss…
For this reason, I have stopped using bid bots on all posts except for my contest/challenge posts. These are posts with the main purpose of helping others, so I will use the earnings from the bots and return it to my followers and contestants.

I agree with you when you said teenagers nowadays are exposed to explicit songs. As a parent's point of view I dont want my children listening to those songs with explicit lyrics. It may sound conservative and I am conservative. If I may choose, I will expose my children to wholesome music and art. Thank you for pointing it out. I love music and Art. Even Though I don't know much about digital art, I can see You did a great job! This is one great promotion for the group and for the kind of music they play. I also respect others opinion on this matter. After all we live in a free country.

Our children's ages now are from 1 - 6 yrs old. Tender years. Every music they listen to, movies they watch and other things they do inside our home are being monitored by us their parents. Especially by me as a full time Mom to them. As a parent, I want to expose them to activities that will make them better persons as they mature. Better citizens. Because We know time will come as they grow older, they will have their own choice of music, movies, art, clothing among others. This one thing that we can no longer control. But my husband and I strongly believe what the Holy Bible said about training up a child while they are still young. As they mature they will not depart from the things they learned in their childhood. For the time being, we will try our very best to instill in their young minds values and wholesome activities specifically music and art that will inspire them to do good things to the community they belong. 😊

Just seeing this contest for the first time and am amazed at the concept of it and here is my entry which I've already submitted to @qyugmo post.
I can relate very well with many of what you've said up there, I commend you for the bold step in making sure Philippines local music 🎶 did not go into extinction while you are yet alive, you'll be amazed at the indirect effect this single act is going to do to others too.
In Nigeria, the local music 🎶 that offers words of wisdom, sages and deep thought have died away and all we see now are artists with half naked ladies , they even sing proudly by singing the praises of yahoo yahoo boys(Internet fraudster/scammers).
Having hundrends of you in my country will go a long way.

This is the first time that I've seen you here. But I've only been here for a little bit myself. So far I love this place so much it drives me crazy. I have a hard time walking away from here. Yes, you are spot on about the contest. You can add the same comment to both, either copy/paste or screenshot, or modify it slightly to match each post. As a music lover i can totally relate the feeling of been able to connect with an artist through his music. Music speaks alot for me. Theres something about the way the minds of artists work that amazes me everytime i listen to a song.

thanks @gyugmo it is really great that you reminded me of the soaps when I was still a young girl i really liked watching Filipino soaps and my best soap i think was Pango-ka-sayo the spelling is not so good but the background music was good actually when i was young we could sing those songs though i forgot about them
it is great you raised the point of explicit songs and videos most artists think that's the way to go but to me, it is a turn-off and a way of destroying talents because at the end of the day the fresh talents will start using drugs because they want to match that honestly most people think its trending but hell no

I always been impressed by people like your that find something new and immediately decide to dedicate their time to create something honoring that thing!
Your fanart of the band is amazing and watching at least a bit of how it was created is pretty cool.
In regards to music taste, everyone has different tastes but in my opinion genres like dubstep and electronic, that are somewhat enjoyable, don't compare to real music with good lyrics and meanings and real feelings behind every word and note!

hi, here is my comment:
This is why I love music. I didn't understand a single word but I couldn't help but vibe to those tracks, specially the first one(the melody is now stuck in my head lol). This is why I love to indulge and experiment with different genres.
But as a hip hop fan and hip hop being my first love I have to say that most of what is heard on the radio or in clubs is just spoof meant to dumb us down.
If you were to ask me who's "hot" right now I wouldn't be able to as they all sound the same these days. But there are always a few hidden gems like Lupe Fiasco's "dumb it down" in which he describes the current era 10 years ahead of it's time, or his "bad b**tch" in which I think he perfectly demonstrates what you said here;
I love the fact that I can go back and listen to Joe budden's "stuck in the moment" or "inseperable" if I want an emotional rollercoaster, that Wale's mixtape "more about nothing" has some of the most beautiful spoken word I've ever heard and that I can go and listen to Royce da 5'9 (as explicit as he is) whenever I want punchlines or just to laugh.
I feel like the real problem is that within every genre the mainstream sells us so much bs, so hard, that we think we have no other choice. And that is why I get overjoyed when I discover pure talent such as this band that aren't using nudity or the "popular" key phrases of the moment to go viral. And for that I am thankful @qyugmo, it really was a blissful experience and I think we should all strive to bring our heritage out to the World like you just did :)

I am just super-curious as to why the band has been portrayed without eyes, and why the woman in the middle (it IS a woman right?) is lacking female features, I know it is hard when flat-chested, but it now looks like 5 guys? Just like you wish you could go back to the 90's, I also wish same too.
Then, we had beautiful songs with lyrics that actually do pass a meaning.
But now, the reverse is the case, all thanks to civilization.

Your overview about the band is relatable. (Are there songs in English? If yes, can I get a link to their songs?) There are so many up-to-date bands whose voices haven't been heard at all, all over the world.
Permit me to take you round Nigeria as a Nigerian. I was born in the 90's and I heard beautiful songs everywhere from Edris Abdulkareem to 2face to Fela Anikulapo Kuti to African Nubia.
These men sang the heart of men. If you are low in confidence, listening to these guy's song would surely revive you. As a guy or man then, talking to ladies was not an issue, all you have yourself do is play African queen by 2face Idibia or play one of African Nubia's collection.
As time rolled by, these men were cautioned for speaking against the corrupt democracy practised and they slowly had their mouths shut. Some of them grew old and some still sang on but never gained popularity again. WHY?
The advent of the new century of songs had come and everyone wanted to just damce and patty hard(this is one of the reason kids and wards are wayward). These kids sneak out to party and simultaneously get roused by defaming music.
Conclusion: Every brand or crew that sings wonderfully well should be appreciated. They hold good sanity of the world. They speak from their hearts and bless lives.

this is my first time of seeing this post and contest. youths generally are exposed to songs with lyrics not pleasing. I am a youth and i know what my friends listens to. most of this music with corrupt lyrics penetrate into our mind and affects how we think and how we show our self to the society!.
we domt really know the mystery behind what we call music. Musoc can hewl the soul and also it can bring a whole country into shatter. theres power in music!
so i urge us to listen to what will nourish our heart not what will contaminate and pollute our heart and mind and makes us to start misbehaving. im a socila worker and i jave dealt with such cases before. the munimuni song though i mdont understand what they are saying but i know its passing a meaning.
music is far from just listening to the melodies.listen to the message it passes to us.

So here is my entry, my friends.(I'll try not to write a chapter, or a book.) Although if I do, I blame you, for choosing such an amazing post to comment on.
First, @qyogmo, GREAT JOB!
Next, lets dig in. Music nowadays doesn't seem to actually be about the music... unfortunately, it's about the money.(sad) I agree with your stance on the state of music concerning butt dancing, naked girls, and vulgarity. Each artist thinks they have to do crazier things then the one who came before. However, the people of the world buy the mainstream garbage that is delivered to them by the media outlets. So I think it tells a deeper story. It makes me wonder how such a huge percentage of our population can feed into the trash that the entertainment scene calls music.
As far as I'm concerned...

Or at least a very good way to show love. Music should be made to show love or to be uplifting. Or to help us through our struggles. And yes there are times angry music helps.
I also, like you, don't hate the different kinds of music. I understand that everybody needs an outlet. So I understand the angry music. I just don't understand the near naked people, the unneeded amount of cursing and such.
Also, I love the song you featured in the second video the most. It took a while for me to figure the lyrics out but once I did, wow, what a powerful, yet kind of sad story. As far as the band they really seem to get it. I haven't been able to research them much yet. But they seem very down to earth.
And you, brother. I want to thank you. First for loving! Our world needs as much as we can all muster. Thank you also for your great content that you put out. I'm so new to all of this, I barely scrape by. Thanks for taking the time to help these guys. It seems they are positive role models and have the potential to help other people through their music.

Please check out the post about the payout option. You would be better off going for 50/50, sell the SBD part on the market to get STEEM and then power it up. You would grow your SP much faster.

This is an awesome tribute to the band you love! As for me, I tattooed the album logo of my favorite rap rock band.
It is my only way to show appreciation of their music since they're from a far away country(im from Philippines, Hollywood Undead is in USA).
To @qyugmo, thanks a lot for sharing this awesome band in our country. I really haven't heard of them and I'm thankful they're not main stream yet (I like listening to music that is not played all over the place). Your bit about Filipinos being poetic traditionally is quite interesting. Very much in contrast with what is currently prevalent! This is a nice. I'm seeing this more as a way to socialize, encourage minnows and find those with similar interests as you, than as a contest. This is good @danielsaori. A good music is that you feel the emotion of the artist. That's how I feel when I listen to "Sa Hindi Pag-alala" by Munimuni band.
The song is like forgetting the one you love. One line there, "kakalimutan na kita.."(i will forget you) is a powerful statement of saying goodbye. 😭
The poetic lyrics and the tune is another thing that makes it different from other local bands. It's refreshing to hear such kind of music. It brings you back to your roots and making you love your own.
I salute @qyugmo for bringing this type of sound on his post. Local artist should be given the opportunity to show their music. He also detailed the Munimuni band using his talent in arts. Amazing! Music & Arts combined in one post.
