    I saw your comment about small letters and correcting the spelling mistake in CRPYTO and was able to work out the puzzle.
    "fisrtstepisdone" unpacked the archive. Inside was this image:

    I quickly recognized the logo with binary on it as pastebin's logo, and after staring at the other parts of the image for who knows how long I figured out that the IHJYN0CN was part of a link to pastebin (pastebin.com/IHJYN0CN).

    This left me with "U3RlZW1mZXN0MnJvY2tzIQ==", which I threw into a handful of online decoders finally getting a result with a base64 decoder: "Steemfest2rocks!".

    I excitedly came here to post about my findings and saw that @waldfee had already pieced together the puzzle. Congratulations to them, and if there is any kind of second place reward, that'd be pretty cool too.

    Anyone notice how I spelled Crypto in the header image?

    Haha

    That's a hint btw. Enough hints from me

    was my solution Steemfest2rocks! wrong?
    I ask because you write 2 hours after my post that hothelp1by1 should try to finish.

    It's correct! Didn't see your comment. You won! Congratulations :) I will make the winners announcement post tomorrow and send you the prize

    jeah, great :)
    Many thanks for the prize and also for the amazing riddle!
    In the meantime I've realized that you can't see my post in the list of your replies, so i already thought, that you overlook my first post.
    I'm new here in steemit and still has a lot to learn.

    HINT 1 DONE: password to unpack the archive is: fisrtstepisdone

    Inside is an image with:

    0101101100111010000001
    and
    IHJYNOCN

    the binary is actually the pastebin logo.
    The letters combination leads to a pastebin:
    https://pastebin.com/IHJYN0CN

    the O was a 0(zero)

    Now onto wth is: U3RlZW1mZXN0MnJvY2tzIQ==

    its base64 encoding
    echo U3RlZW1mZXN0MnJvY2tzIQ== | base64 --decode

    Steemfest2rocks!

    i guess you won? @timsaid ?

    that would be great :)

    I love that kind of riddles, and found these by random.

    haha. you kinda came at the end and swept the prize :):)

    From now on i'm following, in the hope there come more crypto challenges.

    There will definitely be more!

    yes. she won

    binary code is missing 2 numbers (need pairs of 8). Looking at the way they are positioned I'd say it's a 01 but that translates into a smiley with a unrecognized character ...

    The letters are gibberish so far so there is something missing. Might need to check the image for metadata but that might be too far.

    I was wrong with this comment

    Thanks for adding the poll! We can win and we will! Awesome contest too @timsaid

    Every vote counts!

    indeed - therefore i annoyed a lot of my fellow steemians already with it - was calm last 2 days though lol

    @timsaid PYLOXYZYZKVOYJUTK

    First step is done??

    Nope. There is a rar file you need to open. However it is encrypted and the password has something to do with what you guys found. I suggest to use Firefox since Chrome blocks the attachment. (Encrypted rar files seem to be dangerous lol)

    @rahul.stan's

    @timsaid PYLOXYZYZKVOYJUTK

    decyphers to: JSFIRSTSTEPISDONE when trying it onhttp://www.xarg.org/tools/caesar-cipher/ with Use Key 20

    great...resteem and upvote for you....

    Close enough

    thank you

    I don't understand. What are we supposed to do?

    I suggest you have a look at the previous episodes of the Steemit Crypto Challenge. But here is some help: You are looking for a codeword/solution. In order to find it you need to solve several tasks.

    Good luck

    Okay.. I'll try..

    meep

    NO CLUE BUT THAT GUY KNOWS HIS SHIZNIT!!!!!

    @andu solved the first part. Try to finish

    Winner vote 😂

    We i can only answer on your PS i did vote for steem! lets hope for a turn around on the number with ETC! With the riddle i feel already lost ! 😂

    I'm sure we can win the voting! And good luck with the riddle. Don't give up!

    When i see this word "caesar encryption" i remember to se softqarw made by Borland Delphi that was encrypted with Caesar in Header

    Im late to know this post

    watch out! @timsaid is assembling his own cicada3310 team!!!!

    I'll keep tabs on this competition as a spectator. Because sadly.. I dont even come CLOSE to you guys when it comes to solving hints being sleuth-y...

    @timsaid You are loved.

    We love you too!

    It was the result of decryption of the secret on hint 2.

    12LOXYZYZKVOYJUTK = FIRSTSTEPISDONE using ROT Caesarian decryption [A-Z]+6.

    So far correct

    I now have PYLOXYZYZKVOYJUTK = JSFIRSTSTEPISDONE, but I'm struggling... Any help @timsaid?

    Without the PL. Use the spelling mistake, numbers and switch something.

    LOPYZYZKVOYJUTK with ROT + 6 = FIRSTSTEPISDONE

    if we switch letters 3&4 to "correct it" like correcting the CRYPTO spelling = FISRTSTEPISDONE

    LOYXZYZKVOYJUTK (<- letters switched), decrypted with +12 (the number) = ZCMLNMNYJCMXIHY

    None of the three unpacks the archive

    Did you try small letters?

    hahahah Nice one.
    PWD to unpack the archive is: fisrtstepisdone

    I have no f'n clue wha to do.. but it's pretty cool. Unrar anything makes me queezy.

    The password is in the image

    Is it?

    My head is hurting. Still trying to figure out that "12". Time to take a nap, and come back to this later.

    Thanks for the puzzle Tim.

    I had a spelling error: use it

    I tried switching the letters around in the cipher you provided. Still can't come up with a plain text result.

    Very good idea! There is the key
