Welcome to the curators group. A place for curators to leverage each other and gain steem power. If you have not yet joined our telegram group please make sure you do. In this post I will breakdown how we plan to leverage each other to expand our audiences and spend some time growing our steem power together.
Our Goal
The main goal of this group is to increase engagement across our content; both from members in our group and the communities outside of it. We will utilize this engagement (and the earnings) from it to increase our STEEM Power (more on this in a bit) to allow us to earn greater curation rewards. It is important we stick together and truly help each other out in the beginning of this journey.
How To Use Steemit/What To Post
Definitely the most asked question so far, so let me break this down really easily for you.
Use it like you would any other social platform!
That's right. Use it like you would anything else. The same content you post on Reddit, Facebook, Instagram, Youtube and more; can be posted to Steemit in almost the same capacity. Let me show you a few examples of what I mean with content that I have uploaded here already.
Blogs & Your Opinions On Them
How often do you read something, then post your opinion on the same topic/article on another social channel? I see this done all the time on Facebook and Twitter. Here's an example of where I posted the article here, with credit, and then added my short opinion on it on the end. You can format this however you like, and I'll be experimenting with it more, but you should always give credit on work that is not yours; and never JUST post someone else's content without your own additions, comments, review, opinion, whatever. If you're not adding to it, its not yours to make money off of it, in my opinion.

Find yourself sharing analysis with people all over social media and commenting on others? Yeah, I'm sure you do. So why not shift that conversation over to Steemit where you can upvote, comment, and engage back and forth while earning on that conversation.

Want to inform people about your opportunity or something they should check out? Well.. How To Earn On Steemit
Now this is a vast subject, and I'm going to be directing you guys to awesome articles throughout this so you can read what I've read. With that being said, our main focus is going to be accumulating STEEM Power through our engagement with each other.
What is Steem Power?
As donkeypong said:

When you earn rewards for posting and voting, part of this is paid to you in SP. When you Power Up, you are increasing your SP also. It also gives you a virtual stake in the future growth of Steemit and the Steem economy, since most of the new currency tokens created are paid out to SP holders. The reason our focus is STEEM Power in this group is to allow us to build a solid foundation as we expand our readers and engagement outside of our network. You can buy STEEM Power, and if you're truly serious about growing author and curation rewards it could be worth looking into.
When writing a post you'll want to make sure you select the "Power Up 100% option.
How to Leverage This Group
Now let's discuss how we as a group should be helping each other out. The answer to this is simple, by opvoting, commenting, and engaging back with each other. Have a new awesome piece of content you want to share? Copy the link and paste it in the telegram channel so we can quickly engage with it. Please keep in mind that you are limited to sharing 3 posts a day in the channel so pick your best ones only.
Here's what you should be doing depending on whether the content is yours or not.
Author's
- Create Awesome Content
- Share Content With Group
- Upvote all comments on your posts
- Comment/Engage with back audience on your post
Readers
- Upvote group content
- Leave a relevant comment on their post
- Upvote their comments back to you/keep the conversation going.
Best Practices
- Follow a majority of the people in the group.
- Go through your feed daily to upvote posts they may NOT have been shared in the group.
