I woke up this morning on the floor of the Steemit Diner. My fluffy rabbit fur was covered in pizza dough, cheese, and pizza toppings. I couldn't remember how I got there but the day before was so chaotic I'm not surprised I passed out in a weird place.

May 19th was National Pizza Party Day so naturally I had to throw a party at my virtual Steemit Diner. Check out the backstory here

Tons of friends stopped by for good food and good company. The pizza and drinks flowed all day.

@creatr stopped by for a few veggie pizzas with white sauce, artichokes, olives, and sweet peppers. While eating my friend shared some stories that were written as entries into a really interesting two-sentence writing contest being held in the Science Fiction district of the town. read creatrs story here

A new friend @novaatebatman joined the party and was so appreciative of my pizza that he drew a portrait of me!! I was so flattered a piece of art was created of me that I asked to hang it in the diner! You can see novaatebatman's drawing of me here! Thank you so much for the cool art!. I was happy to see @saiku stop by. Even though my friend wasn't into the festivities we had an interesting discussion where I learned a lot about an issue with babies getting burned badly by sunscreens. Saiku taught me some important information about protecting children from harmful chemicals. Check out saiku's post here.

As the day progressed things got really crazy...and I mean C-R-A-Z-Y. Someone decided to pull a mean prank and ordered 30 pizzas and crazy bread from Little Caesars Pizza to be delivered to the Steemit Diner. When a guy showed up with all those pizzas while I was already baking tons of pizza I was really confused. I told the delivery guy we didn't order those pizzas but he refused to leave and demanded his money. He was a grumpy, short man wearing a toga. I said I wasn't paying him for pizzas when I was baking pizzas and giving them away for free to celebrate the holiday. He called me a stupid rabbit!!

Then my chef Fernando got involved. (That beautiful man with his masculine stubble). To defend my honor he grabbed a pineapple and ham pizza and threw it at the Little Caesar's delivery guy!!! The delivery guy in turn started throwing crazy bread at me and demanding we pay him. Since we never called to order the pizzas we refused. He was throwing pizzas. We were throwing pizzas. Then some young college students who were in the diner having some beers thought it looked like fun and they started throwing pizzas. It was one huge pizza fight. The diner got trashed. Eventually the Little Caesars guy gave up and left in a huff. Too bad he had to mess up my diner. The drunk college students admitted to calling him to deliver pizzas as a prank. They apologized but I banned them from the diner for a week.

Afterwards @creatr was nice enough to to help me pull a bit of cheese out of my nice white bunny fur while @novaatebatman helped me clean up. I was so tired that night I remember trying to reach my bed upstairs but instead I must have passed out in the floor. At least when I woke up the diner was nice and clean for a new day of business.
