Me and Steemit – My Journey as a starter

Hello Steemians. This is where I and Steemit meets.

I have joined a lot of facebook groups for reason that I wanna have some fun, earn new friends and of course to have new likers. No days have passed without opening my account. I’m always online and chatting friends either with sense or non-sense.
One time, I saw a post on facebook that invites someone to sign-up to a certain site in order to earn money, cryptocurrency indeed. At that time, I was studying bitcoin and some ways to earn about it and this post really caught my attention. I ask the author on how to join the said site and she respond and added to the group of LEYTE-SAMAR STEEMIT. At that time, I just finished my sign-up on the page and verified my phone number and of course, waited for almost 3-4 days for the confirmation.

I message Ma’am @ishteldelosa for some queries regarding steemit and told me some ideas regarding his knowledge about the blog. It was my first time to join a blog. I really love writing but some time, laziness always take over and corrupts my mind and slowly steal my ideas. Yes, this is me. This is how my life goes on.

It was almost 3 days and no confirmation/approval was sent to me. I was about to lose hope. All the individuals having the same date as my registration got approved on the third day and I was the only one unconfirmed.

Every day I open my email expecting to receive my email yet, nothing new appears. I always message the group and members told me to wait and it will appear and you will get confirmed maybe not now but maybe tomorrow.

At certain moment, I send my referral from coins to the group for me to earn something while waiting and to my surprise, I was removed to the group. How unlucky for me. I message Ma’am @ishteldelosa and it was confirmed. I was kicked for marketing my account. At last, I was about to lose hope and stop waiting for the email confirmation. I opened my email for the last time to see if I already receive the email and if not, I’m about to stop.

To my surprise, the email was sent to me. The confirmation email atlast! I message ma’am @ishteldelosa about the conformation and I was added to the group of LEYTE-SAMAR STEEMIANS (were the approved members are chatting).

I was so happy at that time. I don’t know what to do at first so I just read everything from the chat box and learn. So first, I wrote something about myself. It was short but I managed to write. It was my first time to write on a blog and I edited that to make a longer message. And tonight, this very day is my first pay-out of the Autobiography I made.

Steemit, is a blogging and social networking website on top of the Steem circle chain database. The Steem blockchain produces Steem and Steem Dollars which are tradeable tokens users obtain for posting, discovering, and commenting on interesting content. – en.wikipedia.org

Stories from @monwalker and other admins of the group was my basis to write some articles to the steemit. They are truly a remarkable mentor.

Questioning is not part of my vocabulary. But when I get involved to the group chat, they taught me one thing. It is to ask and ask in order for you to learn. Indeed it’s true. As what they say in vernacular, “Wag mahihiyang magtanung” – Sir @monwalker.

I taught steemit is another site just for fun. I was looking for a blog where I can earn and learn for the same time. And here it is. I am here now! It’s steemit. A site for learning and earning.

Instead of posting rants, dramas and nonsense talks to facebook, I now think and craft things that are useful to readers and post it here (steemit) for everybody to read and correct my creation.

Steemit is a fast growing community. It does not helps us to earn but also helps us to explore new things. It endorse patriotism and love for the same race and culture. Unity, another thing that is promoted on Steemit. Filipinos, US, believed in the value of “bayanihan”, a thing called “One for all and all for one”. This is the thing that is promoted by steemit. Helping each other to reach a certain goal is the biggest thing we are proud of and it is best practice in this site.

Since I’m only a week old in steemit, this may be all the things I have learned from steemit. As days pass, I’ll be able to learn more about this platform and with the ability to learn, I can pass this to my friends for them to enter the community of steemit.

Steemit, a fast growing community that helps every member to learn and earn. A community were helping is the key to success and a community where your creativity and thinking is the key to earn.
