Everyone has its own reason why they become part of the steem family. Some join because their passion is writing, invited by friends and some join for the reward.
Writing is something we all know but, it is also a powerful tool that could help everyone to rise from the intricacies of life. A great example wherein writing becomes a powerful tool is the works of the Philippine National Hero, Dr. Jose Rizal. Instead of fighting back with guns and blades against the Spaniards, he uses words to fight back. In his book Noli Me Tangere (Touch me Not) and El Filibusterismo (The reign of Greed), he explains everything and it is where he fight using words against the Spaniards.
On my part as a steemian, the reason why I join this blog are as follows:

Being a graduate from a university with flying colors, my family is expecting me to have a brighter future. They wanted me to have a life apart from the way we live. They wanted me to lift them from poverty. A great challenge indeed. As for my present status in life, I am currently sorting things up. I need to find a job that could suffice the need of my parents and return the favor they’ve done while I’m still studying.
It is where I meet steem. A blog with no investment (in terms of capital) yet you can still earn. The only thing you have to do is write something and catch the attention of everybody in order for them to like you and the article you wrote and on the same time, earning follows.
2.To help RENOVATE our House

- It’s been 4 years and 3 months after the onslaught of the Super Typhoon Haiyan locally known as “Yolanda”. I am part of the survivor in Leyte Province that until now, still sleeping on a makeshift house built by my father after the onslaught. I work hard after graduation. I’ve been to two agency and still dumped at the Local Government Unit with lower salary grade. I need to work harder to earn for our family. My father is getting old and only few customer call him to work. It’s been years yet we cannot refurbish our home.
- I saw something on steemit, a post that her earnings are utilized to build their house. I envy her yet I know someday that with the use of this platform, I can be like her. I can use my earnings to renovate our house. Her work is my inspiration.
3.To SAVE Money

It is a vital thing to save money for future needs. In my present status of life, money just come and go. No plan for my salary. It’s like dust in the wind. After two or three days, it’s gone. I’m planning to open a bank account to deposit some of my earnings yet I think I cannot comply the requirements or the basis for opening one. I realize to open an e-wallet and with the help of my friends, I created one, no hassle and stress free. In such case, I will not automatically use my money for some useless thing and I can save money for future use.
I will transfer my steem earnings to my coins account and will be used only for important things. That may be sound easy but since temptation is everywhere, I will try my best to keep every income on my e-wallet.
Lastly, I hope I can achieve this last reason why I choose steemit aside form other blogs.
4.For LAND ownership.

Nowadays, land matters a lot for us living in rural areas. It is a big achievement for somebody to buy a land with his/her own money from his/her sweat.
When I was born, we’ve been transferring form one lot to another. Yes, we are NPA’s, or No Permanent Address. I'm tired and sick of it. I cannot count how many times we transferred from a certain lot to another for only a limited time. The land where we built our house today is only until 2019. And I don’t know where is our next address will be. This is the main reason behind my hard works and the main reason for searching online works that would help me to fulfill this dream. With steem plus my current work, I will save them to meet a certain amount that will enable me to buy a lot where we can call it “OUR OWN” and NPA days will be over.
As long as I am with steem, I can do this things. With Steem community, I find friends. With Steem Community I found Hope. And with Steem Community, everything is possible.

Originally i joined because i was researching crypto. Then i stayed because i saw a way to make money. Now i live here because of the people and being able to express myself on the site.
I love writing and have found some great spaces on here to do so and people who are interested in it.
