I love writing for @steemiteducation! As a biology teacher I feel challenged to take part in bringing educational posts to Steemit. As part of my teaching routine, I have to prepare lesson plans for my students. Going forward, I will prepare them in English, so that I can share them with you here on Steemit too!
I am a junior high school with qualifications in biology. I have studied so that I can transfer knowledge to my students to the best of my abilities. I put every effort into preparing my lesson plans so that I am always well equipped for the classes I give.
Here is a lesson plan that I have prepared for this semester for my Class Ones.
Education Unit: Junior High School Sudomulyo
Subject: Biology
Class / Semester: I (One) / 1 (One)
Time Allocation: 2 x 40 minutes
THE LESSON PLAN
Competency Standards
Understanding the diversity of living things.
Basic Competence
Describe the diversity of living organizational systems ranging from cellular levels to organisms.
Learning Objectives
Meeting 1
- Through an observation using a microscope, learners can define the understanding of cells through their own investigation.
- Learners can write down the relations between animal cells and plant cells based on the images given during a discussion given in groups.
- Learners can write down the differences between animal cells and plant cells based on the images given during the group discussion.
- Learners can describe the special organelles contained in plants and their functions carefully based on the images given during the group discussion.
- Learners can describe organelles specially contained in animals as well as their functions, based on the images given during the discussion in groups.
- Through careful microscopic observation and guidance, learners are able to identify differences between animal cells and plant cells that appear.
- Learners must be guided in using the microscope correctly during the activities of observing animal cells and plant cells.
- Learners can develop a democratic, guided and independent observation through the activities of observing animal cells and plant cells in groups.
Teaching Materials
- The history of cell discovery.
- Understanding the cell.
- Cells (cell organelles).
- Understanding of tissue and tissue samples in animals and plants.
- Definition of organs and samples of organs in animals and plants.
- The organ system that constitutes the body of living things.
Model / Method of Learning
A. Model: Cooperative Learning
B. Method: Observation, Discussion, Assignment
Learning Resources
• Electronic Class Book VII
• Internet site: ca7.msscience.com
• Microscope
• Preparation of plant tissue and animal tissues (fresh or preserved)
• Images of cells, tissues, organs, organ systems
Learning Activities
First meeting
1. Introduction Activity (10 minutes)
• Prayer
• Check the attendance of learners
• Ask the reason for the absence of learners during today's lesson and clarify who did not attend the previous meeting.
• Exception:
Learners are asked to describe what processes occur in a factory (looking for raw materials, producing, checking production, managing waste production, etc.).
• Motivation:
Learners are asked to elaborate on whether there is relation in these process within plants and in the bodies of living things.
• Teachers inform the students of the learning objectives and introduce characters that will be developed through learning activities.
2. Core Activities (65 minutes)
• Learners read and underline the important concepts in the Chapter titled Organization of Life in the BSE book and study the information on the internet that describes the cell.
• Students sit in groups; each group consists of 4-5 people.
• Learners observe prepared plant tissue and animal tissue using a microscope carefully, thoroughly and independently.
• After making observations, discuss the understanding of cells, parts of cells and differentiate animal cells and plant cells in groups, making sure that the division of tasks are balanced (cooperation).
• The group completes the discussion on time (discipline).
• The groups present the results of their discussions to the class, with a democratic atmosphere (teachers model and facilitate the freedom of expression and appreciate equality in discussion activities).
• Learners return the tools used to the original place orderly and neatly (responsibility).
Closing Activity (5 minutes)
• Create a summary of the discussion with teacher guidance.
• Assessment of the ability of learners using a microscope using the LP 6.3B assessment guide: Using a microscope
• Reflection: conclude that any single system/organization requires good cooperation in order to perform its functions.
• Familiarize critical thinking by asking students to ask 1 question about the material for the next meeting (about a body’s network and the organs).
• Pray
Thank you for allowing me to share my lesson plan with you, perhaps it will be of some use to other biology teachers.
Proper planning will make for appropriate action as well as; improve the quality of teaching time, engage in rich learning absorption, and will allow a teacher to transfer knowledge in a professional manner.
Thank you for letting a member of the @blue-pencil team edit this post for you.

Nice lesson plan to be appled in biology class
But, What do you mean by "diversity of living things" ?
If you mean Keanekaragaman hayati, you should use "Biodiversity". It is the standard use and more scientific word in English.
That only my suggestion @agrojaya
