By now you have realized that going through puberty is not always 'fun and games'. Your voice changes, not to mention your body, or even worse you hormones are all 'over the show'.
There are many days when you feel irritated, discover a new zit on your face or have a 'bad hair day.'
This does not mean that you must just give up and neglect yourself. Keeping healthy and maintaining hygiene is very important.
Everybody goes through puberty in order to become an adult, so dealing with everyday stress is enough, you do not have to add to it by worrying about sweating too much, or having a bad body odor.
The same hormones that plays a role in acne pitching up on your face, plays a role in making your hair extra oily. Our hair produces some oil in order to keep the hair shiny and healthy, but during puberty it will suddenly start making more oil and there will be some days that you look and feel like you have dipped your hair in a bucket of oil.
You will have to start washing your hair every day or at least every second day and will want to use shampoo and conditioner specially made for oily hair. You do not have to scrub or rub your hair extra hard when you wash it, this will not remove extra oil, it will just irritate your scalp. Have a look at any other products you use on your hair that it does not add extra oil.
You have always have sweat glands on your body, but suddenly they are in overdrive. You do not only sweat more, but also give off a horrible smell. Thanks to puberty again, your body is producing extra chemicals that causes the smell.
You will have to make sure you bath or shower every day and wear socks, shirts and underwear made from cotton to help absorb the sweat.
It is also very important that you do not only use deodorant to smell good but also an antiperspirant that will help you sweat less.
Very few people will tell you when you do not smell nice, so it is up to you to make sure that you keep up good hygiene and if the products you use do not help, a doctor will be able to prescribe special pills or antiperspirant that will help you with your problem.

If your decide to shave, make sure you get a decent razor and not rush through it the first time. You do not want to be covered in nicks.
