Today's experiment is the glowing, smoking bubbles experiment! As if playing with bubbles wasn't fun enough for kids, you can take it a step further and make them glow in the dark! If you want to know more about the experiment, keep scrolling down for more details!
What you'll need:
- Washable glow paint
- Chunk of dry ice
- Dish wash soap
- Gloves
- Tall container
- Tongs
- Food colouring ( optional)
- 3/4 of water
What to do:
- Firstly put on some safety gloves.
- Next, add water, a squirt of dish wash soap and food colouring into a tall container.
- Add a chunk of dry ice. (have an adult help you). Now you'll notice bubbles forming and you can play with them!
- You can take it a step further by adding some glow paint and play with the bubbles in the dark!
Tips:
Make sure that you don't touch the dry ice without using the tongs and wearing gloves! You will end up with burns if you touch it with your bare hands!
