Hello dear steemians, I've been thinking for a while that you or your children will be having goose bumps when you hear that the exam is close. Well the same goes with me too. Anyways, don't you like to know some study tips and shine like a bright star? I guess that no one doesn't like to, isn't it? So let's find out some tips for easy studying. If you follow these steps, you'll definitely be able to face the exam like a superhero.
Tip 1
After you study, try to remember them from an hour time. It's great if you write them on a piece of paper. This might look a little troublesome cuz no one wants to study for hours and to re-remember them from an hour. But I promise you that it'll help you a lot.
Tip 2
I now that there are a lot of big lessons with hundreds of pages. The first thing I do when I start to study a new lesson is counting the number of pages in that lesson :p Well, that never helps me for easy studying. So if you get a long lesson, try to divide them in to sub lessons. Then study those sub-lessons. Since they are not long, you'll be able to study happily.
Tip 3
Remember those sub-lessons you made in Tip 2? Now you are gonna make a cartoon, a drawing, or any kind of graph that you'll remember easily.
Tip 4
Now, you have to teach. So you are gonna become a teacher. All you've gotta do is to teach them loudly to someone or just keep a doll in front of you and teach him. This is one of my favourite techniques I practice. This'll automatically improve your child's imaginary skills when they start to imagine that those dolls are asking various kinds of questions. Students have to pretend that those dolls are asking questions about the lesson and they'll answer them.
Tip 5
Well this isn't a hard one but it's a must. I know that all the students are doing this very well but I'll tell it too. That is you gotta have a sleep of at-least 6-8 hours. Very very important huh?
Tip 6
The best time period to feed your mind with studying is from 4am-7am. If you schedule your time table to wake up before 4 am, you'll win this one too. But it's okay if you choose time according to your wish.
Tip 7
So that's the time (from 4am-7am) which you've gotta re-remember the things you studied last day.
Tip 8
Then try to teach them to your friends. This is great for both you and for the friend to remember things easily because you are gonna argue and find the correct answers and to remember back what you've lost and to add extra knowledge to your mind.
Tip 9
You'll love this one too because what you've gotta do is not to study hours continuously. You are gonna have 10 minute breaks from hour to hour. So you are not gonna even look at your study table when you are having these breaks. You can listen to music, do some playing or anything else you enjoy but remember that the break is just 10 minutes.
Tip 10
Then try to answer some questions relating to the things which you studied. This'll wake your memory and don't forget not to be afraid if you couldn't answer some questions. You can study again and try to answer them again.
These are great tips, Chamu! ^^ In addition, one must know what type of learner he or she is. Some people are auditory learners, so they easily remember when they listen. Others are visual, so it's easier for them to read and look at various examples to remember. Knowing the kind of learner that you are will make you save time in studying.
I especially agree with Tip 2... When I was studying for my board exam to get a Nurse license, we had to study or at least read Nursing books from cover to cover. What I did was divide it not by chapters but by the relationship of each lesson. And every time I finish a certain sub-lesson, I reward myself with a chocolate or anime episode.. :P
