Do you give presents to your student for Christmas?

I always give each child in my class gifts for christmas. I know alot of teachers who think they should not use their own money for the classroom or for gifts for the students.

I think it is important for the teacher to give the children something for christmas. I order a $1.00 book for each child. Plus they each get a box of crayons and a coloring book as their gifts. Since my class are 4 and 5 years old I think these are the perfect gift for the children. The book encourages the parents to read to the child. The crayons and coloring book is good to practice their grip on crayons and pencils. The coloring book is away for them to practice coloring in the lines.

The look in the children receive their gift from their teacher is a special little treat to you the teacher. Yes all the gifts are to be encouraging to the children and to help them in their motor skills and encouraging to get their parents to do things with their children.

Now I know not all teachers give gifts to their students for christmas. That is their choice and their classes are probably a lot larger than mine since I only have 15 children. So I only spent about $40.00 for my class presents. I do save the money to do this for the children. This is a choice I decided to do for them.

Christmas is a special time of year for most of us. I love to give gifts to my classroom children.

The children in my classroom give me so much joy I love giving back to them.

That's really cool of you. I think that's an exciting gift for kids. I love to hear that it makes you happy. I bet seeing their faces is really rewarding.

Yes it is rewarding.

He is right, many teachers insist that they should not take money out of their pocket to give gifts to students. However, they do not realize that these children or adolescents spend a school year with them, they know each other every day, they learn from each other. You do not need a luxury gift, with a small gift that will be granted, they will be very happy.
Support what you do, receive a smile as a token of gratitude, is more than enough.
Greetings.

Thank you so much for your kind words. A smile or a hug from a child is the best gift you can get from a child.

That is awesome for the kids and working on their skills is so important at that age group!

The joy is in the giving and these gifts are thoughtful. What child wouldn't like to get a small gift from their teacher. Seeing kids light up is the best gift anyone could get.

Small things makes children happy add wrapping paper and they are really happy.
