Introduction
Who of us have not lied at least for once? It is nearly impossible to pick out someone that has not lied before. But many people today take lying for granted. They do it like its second nature to them. There are many reasons people lie such as to escape punishment, cheat someone, make some financial gains and so on. Whatever the reasons are, lying is wrong and should be avoided at all costs. The following reasons should make you not to lie again.
1. Its tough on the brain: To tell a lie, you must know the truth - the absolute truth. Then, your brain must first figure out alternative stories that must look like the truth. Next, you want to examine every bit of the lie to make sure there is nothing irregular. Your brain must ask and answer possible questions along the way. At the end of the whole stress, you are ready to lie. But then, your interrogator is smarter and asked a question your brain forgot when formulating the lie - more stress then. You see why its easier to say the truth because you do not want to overload the brain.
2. It ruins your reputation: What if people find out that you have a habit of lying, how will they look at you? If your spouse, boss, colleagues, neighbors or schoolmates discover that you hardly say the truth, they will not look up to you with respect. Instead, they regard you as unsteady in your ways. Lying causes a lot of embarrassment and you let down your personality in front of people that should have respected you. Is it not better to be brave and say the truth?
3. You become untrustworthy: No one wants to trust someone that lies. When people recognize you as someone who lie all the time, they will avoid you. They will not share their secrets with you nor will they entrust anything precious to you. No one will ever believe you. Even if you are saying the truth this time, it will be hard to convince people that this is actually the truth. And when something is missing, they know where to look because everyone else says the truth except you. Is that not bad?

Lying is wrong and bad for all reasons. People even lie to get a job. I wonder what they are thinking. Whatever you are doing, always say the truth, it pays!

If you want to make good decisions you have to commit to search for the truth. Aknowledge that everyone lies, to look for cues to have the best data, but above all that you have to stop lying to yourself. If you can acomplish that you are closer to make a lot of better decisions. To keep you in track.

Lying turns out to be a natural thing. Two years old already lie. It must be a kind of instinct why we lie, a way to survive? It doesn't matter if a child has been ever punished for it.
Some people never lie and yes that is something of their brains. The less social skills the bigger the chance the person is honest.
There also are people who lie at one piece. Psychologic liars. It is something of the brain too and they strongly believe what they tell.
