I would like to see it in person. Looks lovely.

Nice photos

Thanks for the information on this insect. Never saw one before and it is a lot easier seeing them indoors vs outdoors.

Oh wow! A lovely post with ample information Lady Joan! We seem to be on the same wavelength, as I also posted about camouflage today! Blessings!

We have some really amazing things we share life with, all too often we don't see it right under our nose.

Thoroughly enjoyed your post today, we have the most handsome Blou Koppie running around, been too fast for me to photograph, stealth is required unless they are sunbathing.

Oh how cool! I love stick insects, even if bugs in general do freak me out. I'd probably be screaming if I saw that thing crawling on my walls and make my roommate take it outside, but still XD

Nice find, and very educational post. Thanks so much for sharing!

Nothing worries me so long as I see it first, movement in bush is unnerving, always try to keep my cool @sigilmancy this one is rare well I have never seen one before and needed research.

Is this not a branch of Trees?

Then you see me, then you don't @cloudblade

Nice pics. I wonder how you will get such rear creatures for photography. I guess you stay near a lot of bushes surrounded by you.

Curiosity hits me

They look weird, I do not like insects, but you have made some great photos

Wow, looks like the stick insects adapted themselves successfully to live in very harsh and extreme conditions and hide from predators. What a brilliant animal.

Carried it out on a kitchen towel for fear of hurting or scaring it, stunning size!

I would've never known it was a stick insect if it was outdoors. Twigs and the insect look too much alike.

Imagine being able to camouflage yourself in such a way no one interferes with you. Oh the animal kingdom, so much to still learn about it!

You did all of these writeup for a insect! I admire your effort.

lo conozco personalmente, realmente son extraños pero fascinantes, saludos id kryptonia @reyos69

Thats Weirdo 😨😨

Amazing photos.

never had seen any like this insect, it looks like a twig of a leaf, looking it is not alive. Informative.

is it really alive? amazing, first time to see

Cool Stick Insect not easy to see in the vegetation and who would of thought they are feministas, as well.

Can't believe, that thin looking creature is also on earth, many wonderful creations by God

Great photo, although not a huge fan of the subject :)
What is amazing to know though, when you mention about looking for new species etc at the bottom of the ocean, forest and space, the most are actually found in people's gardens ;)

So true, a couple of years ago a British TV show actually took people out into their small gardens and it was amazing what people actually found when they looked.

wow really wonderful insect. I think its an ALIEN robot ha ha :p
