Practice Sheets on Two Thirds
Fractions are parts of whole numbers. One a one whole is divided into three equal parts and two parts are chosen the fraction is known as Two Thirds and we write it as 2/3 (two out of three). For example, Rita cut a pizza into three equal slices and she ate one slice. How much pizza left behind?
As Rita ate one out of 3 equal slices therefore two slices are left. There were 3 equal slices in total, hence two out of three slices are left behind or we simply say that Two Thirds of pizza is left behind. Parents can choose such examples from daily life to make their young one smart in basic fractions.
Below are three practice sheets on two thirds which can be used to teach this basic fractions to kids in 2nd grade math.
