Multi-digit Addition Problems

I think 4th grade is the last grade when students practice addition of multi-digits and grade 5 there are no more direct addition problems but their application.

In this post I am sharing two practice sheets to work on multi-digit addition problems. These problems involve two or three numbers with different number of digits. The problem student face in such scenarios is the stacking the numbers.

Always stack numbers by aligning the digits from right to left.

You got it @sarah.taylor!! Thanks a lot for your continuous support!!

You are absolutely right @mathworksheets. Although it seemed simple to add numbers yet it could be challenging for kids if they won't keep the key in their mind that you have explained in your post to align the digits from right to left while stacking numbers. Thanks for reminding the key words.

These are the key basic skills kids need to be smart in math!

You are absolutely right @mathworksheets. Thanks for always sharing good content.
