Writing Numbers In Standard Form for 2nd Grade Math

In this post we will explore writing numbers in standard form. Kids in grade 2 should be smart enough to write numbers to one thousand in standard form.

This skill can be practiced by giving kids worksheets containing numbers in words and asking for writing these numbers in words.

Other method is to ask your child to write some numbers. For example; ask your child to write one hundred twenty two, and he/she writes 122.

Below are the worksheets to practice writing numbers in standard form;

Thanks for stopping by, @rocksg.

Maybe you should give out spelling lessons also. Like one hundred sixty two should be one hundred sixty-two.

thanks @mathworksheets

Thanks a lot dear @dinsha for the appreciation :))

Excellent

Thanks @ramblinmind :))

Please fix the typo in the title of this post.

Oh! Thanks @steemiteducation. Fixed it :))

I have to say, you produce the most unstimulating worksheets I have ever seen! I thought that before when you started publishing them. As maths coordinator for 10 years in a UK school, I wouldn't use them. Still, 'good on yer' for highlighting maths so I'll upvote.

Thanks for the discouragement dear @deemarshall! As per my teaching experience of 22 years my worksheets are mostly welcomed by students. I have taught about 4500 kids and about 9 or 10 thought your way. If you don't like something on steemit please downvote it not upvote!

Maybe you should take all feedback with a good grace.

Please let me know which way you want to see my worksheets? I will try my best to implement your advice in my future work. Thanks.

Worksheets these days use illustrations and popular characters to emphasize the teaching concepts. Colour is important too although I understand it may be hard to reproduce on Steemit. However, I am sure you must know this as you have so much experience. As teachers, believing in lifelong learning, we always strive for improvement. I am sorry to have caused you offence.

Thanks, you will see the reflection of your suggestions in my future work. I really appreciate your feedback.
