When my niece was born, there was lump in her left butt. A doctor said it was hematoma and need to be removed. They just ignore the lump since she was too young back then. Now, she's 14y/o already and she seems fine.

Babies have discolorations when born..that's always ignored most times. Dunno why the doctor wanted to removed it if its not doing any harm nor nuisance.
