This was a grade 7 School Math Project my son did to build a 3D object and calculate the surface area. What a great way to make math fun and practical.

very cool of him

I laugh when people say "When am I ever going to need math?" Well if you want to build a spaceship you better at least learn some geometry! This kids already smarter than 90% of adults lmao

He really wanted to understand % so he could always give a good tip. .... good kid

How creative is this... way to make learning fun for your son. Impressive work!

Yeah... he got a good mark and the teacher asked if he could keep it. ... it hangs over his desk now.

Aww how cool is that! I love it! I bet that made him feel good.

Yeah, what a great way to make maths fun, and to also teach the coveted 3d drawing skills.
In my day we never got to do 3d drawings, and now that I'm grown and have fallen in love with 3d I just wish I could draw it. I'm still planning to learn about it well though, in future 😀.

Yes... so many skills required to build a scale model.
