STEEMIT ONLINE TRAINING SESSION WITH @onyemacourage Day 1

I hope this will benefit everyone. I spent one hour in the Steemit Online Training Whatsapp group sharing this to over 30 participants. I decided to share it here so it could benefit a larger population.

Please do well to resteem to help others get hold of this info.

WHO IS @onyemacourage?
Well long story short. I’m a humble, disciplined, passionate and risk taker. I am a steemian with a very humble beginning. Am less than 3 months on this platform,. Well actually its 83 days.

HOW DID I HEAR ABOUT STEEMIT?
@samstickkz told me about steemit.

MY INTRODUCTORY POST?
Actually i wrote two. I made a mistake in the tags i used in the first post. My first tag was “introduce” instead of “introduceyourself”. When current newbies make over $5 on their introductory post, i made this

HOW WAS IT WHEN I STARTED?
Well it would have been easy if i joined now.

1. There is a growing community with more Steem Power now willing to welcome new bies
2. I now know how best to write introductory posts
   So in summary, it wasn’t easy starting. As a social media promoter thought my skills will work her not knowing it was just a total different platform.

UGLY EXPERIENCE?
Well i equally spent time writing a thought disrupting post an idea i shared with colleagues that was widely accepted but made only $0.13 from the post.

HAVE BEEN FLAGGED OR DOWNVOTED?
Yes I have. Now have you?

HAVE I EVER FELT LIKE GIVFN UP ON STEEMIT?
NO and Never will I.

WHY AM I PASSIONATE ABOUT STEEMIT?

1. Cos i believe in @ned and @dan ‘s project and the steemblockchain.
2. Cos steemit compensates me for putting in a lot of work in sharing ideas and experiences I’ve gathered over time unlike other social media networks.
3. Because i see a potential of liberating men from poverty in steemit.

HOW TO SUCCEED ON STEEMIT?
First of all, you’ll need to understand what steemit is built for and work in line with it. Steemit was developed to offer value.Steemit is a like a hub where ideas and values are exchanged for a little token. Thus the first step is to offer quality contents to other steemians. Be sure every of your posts and comments is offering value.

Secondly, study the lag and log phase of some successful steemians and learn their transition process. Understand what they did that offered them some level of breakthrough. I see alot of young steemians trying to be successful in a day. Thats almost impossible. Study the process and understand the principles.

Use popular and related tags. Wrong use of tags could offer lesser earnings.

Follow popular steemians with huge steem power offering great contents. Don’t bother about your followers. When you followthem and make reasonable comments on their posts and they curate your comments.

Buy steem power. When you have steem power, you have some level of influence in the community. It offers you some advantage.

Lastly, PRAY! Nothing works without some level of faith...
