Hi all steemian friends, on this occasion, I would like to share another interesting basic trick of arithmetic, especially for students who want to master arithmetic. This trick is named as Dividing with Ended Numbers 0.

In the evening the award ceremony will be aired on television. But unfortunately, you can not watch the event because there is a need. As a result, you must record the event into your video memory. The music awards show lasts for 3 hours, while your empty memory can record for 480 minutes at normal speed. How many hours is 480 minutes? To know the answer, we must divide 480: 60 (1 hour equals 60 minutes).
Here's the ways!
When dividing, you can first eliminate the number 0 on the divided number and on the divisors simultaneously. For example, 320: 80 equals the 32: 8 division with the same result, 4. Next, 7,200: 90 the result will be the same as the division 720: 9, that is 80. Then, 5,600: 800 the result will be the same as the 56: 8 division, which is 7. Well, now let's calculate 480: 60 to find out if the video memory is enough to record the event.

Let's try with another example!

Always remember! Remember that you can only omit 0 in the divided number according to the number of disappearances 0 on the divisor. However, to calculate 2.005: 703 we can not omit 0. Thus, the omission of 0 is only valid for numbers ending with 0.
Let's practice again!

This is all about my explanation for this basic arithmetic trick, follow my post to get other arithmetic tricks, that I will explain in my next post. Hopefully, this article useful for me personally and for you all.
Yes. This one I know also. I use it often and try to explain to the nieces and nephews about it.
