The place is incredibly beautiful. A place to be seen by all those who visit Crete. Quite close to Souda and with enough liveliness. You need to wear athletic shoes and have your hands free for downhill, which lasts about 5 minutes but is quite difficult. There is nothing below that you can buy and the shade is scarce. But swimming and diving in its clear waters will amaze you.Stephanos beach (Seitan Ports), Akrotiri, Chania

In Seitang Harbor, on the northeast side of Akrotiri peninsula in western Crete, 20km from Chania, there is a beach different from all the other. Sea lanes are penetrating between the steep rocky coasts of Akrotiri, creating small bays. One of them is the well-hidden beach.

The view is breathtaking from above, long before you reach the beach. The path slightly inaccessible, narrow and steep, is not recommended for children and the elderly. It needs a closed shoe. The sandy beach with crystal clear waters, which as they deepen, are becoming more and more cool. Enough.

It has an incredible view from above with steep cliffs, the parking is very small and the road network is narrowly close. To start the trip you should be prepared with backpack and sports shoes. Unfortunately, I could not get down the alley, it was quite dangerous and I did not do the same preparation. There are no stairs and you must have free hands because the dirt road glides on the descent with sandals or flip flops. I would not suggest it to someone who has been blasphemous because the path is steep, narrow and dirt road.

For parking there is a ball at the end of the route and those who do not have to park on the downhill road so it is good for those who park on the street to use the large stones that are there for extra support under the tires (you will see it all)!
ATTENTION there is a walk (about 10 ') hiking - downhill - climbing to get to and leave the beach. For your own safety it is good to wear sports shoes. It is good for people with a higher weight, or of advanced age or with legs or highspeeds not to choose this beach for bathing. As you get down, you have to keep in mind, so if at some point you think you can not go back to the ascent, it's good to cancel your visit and get back.

Literally the port of Satan with inaccessible access but deserves the experience and the passage! Hot sand and cold blue wild waters with lots of people to visit it everyday. Please wear athletic shoes to get some snacks and water towels mats and if you are able to carry the climb while climbing and no umbrella!
