Kings and princes, a tale and moral value

In ancient times there was a wise king named Waliraj. hHe ruled his kingdom very justly. All people are satisfied with their leadership. They always get good service and protection. People's lives are prosperous and they live happily.
Waliraj lives in the palace with his wife and three sons. Life in a luxurious palace makes his children spoiled. Whatever he wants, just mention will be provided. the helpers and servants will always be ready to give what their three sons want.
because the three of them always get good service because they are not independent youths. This was slowly known by Waliraj. Although Waliraj is very frustrated if the children are adults they are not ready to continue leadership in palace. he invited the king's and his wife's advisors while the children were playing outside the palace.
"I am very worried that they are not ready to become leaders. Leaders must be able to overcome problems, but my three children are very spoiled," Waliraj told the adviser?
The king's advisors were silent for a moment.
"Sorry, my lord, do I have a suggestion?"
"What's your gut, Uncle? '
"We send your three sons to tour the country to know all the kingdom's territory. It is easy for them to grow and feel responsible."
"Oh yes, why did not occur to me. What do you think?" Waliraj asked his wife.
"I agree.
The next day the three royal sons were summoned to face Waliraj.
"What is the father calling us three?" the eldest asked.
"My children, you have begun to grow up. It is time for you to know the ins and outs of our kingdom. Later you will be the leaders of the people. For that you must begin to understand this responsibility. I ask you to travel throughout the kingdom to all corners of the village. "
"Are you coming wit us , Dad?" the youngest asked.
"Not my Son. Only three of you are on a trip."
"You must not show yourself as the king's son."
"Alright, Dad," they answered in unison.
Finally Waliraj's sons agreed to tour the kingdom.
After finishing the meeting they immediately prepare themselves. Waliraj's three sons were given strong and good horses. They were given enough provisions for the trip. All provisions were raised to the horse.
The journey began immediately. After entering many remote villages, Waliraj's sons saw all the people's activities. Initially they did not care much about it. Their habit of being served makes them feel like they don't care. However, because every day they found an experience that was never found in the palace they began to feel sorry for the people. They came to know that among the population there are still suffering. there are those who still lack food. until they reach a village they see starving people. Many agriculture experiences crop failure. Waliraj's three sons felt sorry to give everything to the people in the village. They immediately gathered the population for deliberation. With the help of Waliraj's three sons the residents together made a dam to irrigate their fields.
After they helped the villagers then they continued their journey until they reached the edge of the lake near the waterfall. Since then there has been no news of the trip of Waliraj's three sons.
The journey of Waliraj's sons has been worrying the family in the palace for months. Walira was worried why her three children had not returned. This concern made Waliraj decide to track and overtake them. All routes followed followed until Waliraj arrived near the waterfall. There he met an old man with a white beard. He also saw a horse brought from the palace tied to a cabin. The horse is still maintained but he did not see his three cubs.
"Old man, have you seen the owner of these horses?"
"Who are you?'
"I'm their father."
"They turn to stone. You see them there." said the old man, pointing to the rocks at the edge of the lake near the waterfall.
"Why did they turn to stone?"
"Because they can't answer my question. If their parents can answer my question then they will return to being human."
"Well, I'm the father, then give the questions so that they return to their original form."
"The first question is that a book has been torn and a pen broken and then thrown away. What does that mean?"
"It means young people who don't want to study. As a dreamer, they must be willing to learn a lot and seek as much knowledge as possible:
"That's right. The second question, there is a boat that is full of cargo but continues to be added to the load until it finally sinks. What does that mean?"
"It means that people who are greedy. Already have wealth still continue to accumulate wealth. This attitude cannot be owned by the leader."
"You're right again. The last question, what does the people mean for a king?"
"The people are trust providers. The king must be willing and able to carry out the trust of the people and must not betray the trust of his people," the king said calmly.
At that time suddenly the three stones on the shores of the lake changed into Waliraj's son.
They were very happy, and finally returned to the palace. Everyone was happy with their return. Wairaj's three sons learned a lot from experience during a tour around the kingdom.

Moral value

From the tale we can learn that:

  1. We must not be too spoiled and pampering children because it can make them not become a personal person who is not independent.
  2. We must want to learn from various aspects of life. As the saying goes the best teacher is experience.
  3. We must always do good so we can get blessing from God.
