Now, every one of us or at least most of us would be playing games on Steemit and may or may not be earning Steem. 😊  

In this article, I am going to talk about a few games which I play and enjoy. I am going to rate them in terms or RISK and EASE of playing. I will explain each one as we go ahead.

PART 1: ABOUT THE GAMES

Like I mentioned earlier, I will classify the games in terms of RISK and EASE of playing. For each game, I will cover both parameters.  

Let’s look at the games then.

1. Steemslotgames [RISK: LEAST || EASE OF PLAY: EASY] 

Now, this is by far one of my favourite games on Steemit. I have won tons playing the game, and the best part is they continuously hold contests on Steemit making it possible to win Steem outside the game (though, they credit Steem to your game account. You can withdraw it to your Steemit account) too.

Risk: Least. You decide how much Steem you want to take to the game

Ease of Play: Very easy

This game is similar to slot machine games in arcades where we spin to hit the jackpot. The same concept. But the call to fame is their incredible multipliers. They can multiply your bet by 216,000%. Which means if you bet 0.1 Steem you can win 216 Steem. I have seen people win 320 Steem. How cool is that? 

Definitely, recommended by me to try it out!! I guess you won’t regret it!

2. Moonsteem [RISK: MODERATE || EASE OF PLAY: EASY]

Moonsteem is again a simple game. The idea is to place a bet in Steemies. 1 Steem = 1000 Steemies AND you can bet as low as 1 Steemies or 0.001 Steem.  

But here’s the tricky part, you as a player have to bet and keep watching a graph which grows exponentially. The idea is to “cash out” before the graph stops growing or in Moonsteem’s terminology – moons.

Risk: Moderate. You can decide how much Steem you can take to the game. The risk is cashing out before the graph moons. Many are good at it. 

Ease of play: Very easy

3. DRUGWARS [RISK: MODERATE || EASE OF PLAY: MODERATE]

Since I love strategy games, I tried out Drugwars. I like the concept, and I have played enough of the game. The idea is to keep upgrading three resources, Drugs (being the most important), Alcohol and Weapons. The production of drugs allows you to get a portion of the daily rewards in Steem (in recent past this has been changed to Future Tokens). Also, if a player has excess drugs production, which he or she does not intend to use for upgrading their buildings, they can contribute towards the Heist and earn Steem from there too. 

But the best part is the battle that you can have against other players and steal their resources (drugs, alcohol and weapon). You also can recruit your army.  

So, it is a balance between the resources you have, the army you want to recruit and the attacks you want to make, and it further loops to upgrading your resource producing buildings; strategic for sure.

Risk: You can expose your entire Steem balance to the game. In your jest to upgrade you may use up the Steem you have

Ease of Play: You need to understand the game a bit, which doesn’t take much time

In the game, you can keep producing the resources and use the same to upgrade OR do a fast upgrade using Steem or Future token. Depending on your strategy, you can decide how fast you want to upgrade.

4. MAGIC-DICE [RISK: HIGH || EASE OF PLAY: EASY]

Magic Dice is the first of the games that I started playing on Steemit. I like it and have made decent Steem in this. The idea is to bet Steem starting from 0.1 Steem to as much as we want. You can multiply the bet by up to ten times. In other words, if you bet 1 Steem, then you stand to win 10 Steem. 

The game is easy. You just bet if the next number that is going to come up on the dice throw is going to be greater than a number or lesser. To understand this better, take a look at the picture below.

 

Risk: As can be seen from the screenshot above, all of the players’ balance is made available to the game. If you are not sure when to quit you may lose it all

Ease of Play: Easy. Roll the dice and wait to check the outcome

In my opinion, Magic Dice offers the most opportunities to earn both Steem and MAGIC tokens.
