I wanted to thank @kaliju for supporting the @steemlab project. @steemlab was the only project that entered last week's contest, to my knowledge. So I hope to see more participation because it could be a good way to get kick started. It is an opportunity to get the community to learn about what you are up to, share your plans, ideas and maybe get the support that is needed.
For more info please follow the link below, participate and resteem to spread the word.
Since I work with kids, whom I introduced to this wonderful platform called steemit (sounds familiar?), I decided to use the funds donated by @kaliju to boost the first 10 posts submitted by @steemlab members In the hope of getting them further engaged with the platform and reward their efforts. It has been hard keeping them posting from home, due to an overload in school work and other extracurricular activities (sports, arts..).
But it is amazing seeing their excitement while they are attending the lab and working hard on writing an article, all they need is a little boost, words of encouragement and more time to get fully involved. I personally think that @steemlab could get popular within this year at least in the city where we are located, due to the innovative nature of what is offered.
I think combining learning + research + writing + use of top notch tech (blockchain) + exposure to new forms of exchange of value + cooperation is the way to go with this generation. Learning by practicing is the way of the future, sharing ideas and borderless collaboration are inimaginable tools that are now imaginable thanks to the internet first and blockchain second.
All SBD generated by this post + 5 SBD + Donations received (send directly to @steemlab)
Will be divided equally between the steemians with the top 3 posts
I would like to elect @kaliju, @lindahas and @mro to be the judges. Each will pick a favorite post.
I hope you all accept to be part of this selection. :)
Let's all encourage these kids and help spreading the word about this awesome platform that could literally change lives and become a social bridge towards embracing this technology.
Thank you all for taking the time and reading until the end.
