The First State of the Slack Address - July 26, 2017
My fellow Steemians and Distingished SteemitHomesteaders,
It is with great honor that I write to you today, on the one week anniversary of the creation of the SteemitHomesteaders community.
Memberships
To date, over thirty members have joined our group. This is due to your promotion of this community by your resteeming, voting, commenting, and creation of your own content to help spread the word. Thank you, very much. I know with your continued support this community will grow; not only in numbers, but in value to each other.
Member-Led Improvements
This first week has been an exciting ride and great feedback has been given to improve it even further. Some of those great ideas were:
- @pennsif and their idea for new-steemians: a channel to shed light on new like-minded Steemit users to lend support and encouragement.
- @farmstead and their idea for steem-charity: a channel to leverage the power of the Steemit community for good; to lend our votes to a Steemit user in true need, and to share their need with others in the SteemitHomesteaders community.
Upcoming Projects
A team is working on the development of a centralized knowledge bank of information to act as a resource for both new and existing Steemit users for better understanding the Steemit platform in navigation, operation, and management.
Welcome Our First Admin
To help manage growth and provide better assistance to our users, it is my pleasure to announce that @farmstead has agreed to join as the first Slack Admin on SteemitHomesteaders! Please join me in welcoming @farmstead!
