Why do I keep this account running if it gets downvoted?

This is a good question and I will answer it for you. Even though @themarkymark believes he is doing Steemit a service, and believes he's "cleaning up" Steemit with his very nazi-like blacklists and "clean sweeps" and profiling and targeting of users he deems "inappropriate", what he does not understand is that the more of these "broken" and grayed-out posts that flood google and other methods of finding Steemit, the more it just makes Steemit look bad. And I want Steemit to look bad because I want to save as many people from this ponzi scheme as possible. If just one person searching the Internet should find my "broken" posts and decides Steemit isn't for them, then I have done my job. This is why at this point I don't mind producing 10 or even 20 posts a day because I don't care if it looks like spam. I WANT it to look like spam. I want to produce as many "broken" and grayed-out posts as possible. I want people to see Steemit IS broken. Thank you @themarkymark. Without you I couldn't make this happen. ;)

Going to just copy my response from another post so other people looking in get the real facts.

He was flagged because he was posting a word such as slap and posting a definition, then 90% of his post was copy/paste from the 100's of other ones doing this. He would get upwards of $16+ doing these posts multiple times a day before I started flagging them.

This was the entire post, the rest is a complete copy/paste of every post he makes.

Example

He had a man child fit, and created bots that spam everyone who comments on my posts.

Now he's butt hurt he can't farm anymore and just causing trouble like a little child.

There doesn't need to be negotiation. You don't expect people to negotiate with you about upvotes, it's no different with downvotes.

Everyone has as much influence as their stake allows and can influence the reward pool by that amount. You were milking rewards with shit posts and I used my stake to influence them in a direction that made more sense.

"Word of the day" is something people like to read.

The New York Times (and many other newspapers) have a history of publishing such things because people LIKE them (like horoscopes).

It can't be considered "spam" to post a definition + a signature.

You don't expect a street-musician to hassle you when you throw a coin into their hat, it's no different with TAKING coins out of their hat.
