It is a pleasure for me to participate in this contest and support this great idea from @rodeo670. I found out about this contest during the Curation-Lounge on Discord Server Whaleshares, thank you!
It was back in early October when I decided to join the crypto world, then I joined Steemit Community a couple of weeks later. As you can see, I am a #newbie so is hard for me to say that Cryptocurrency has changed my life, at least not yet, but platforms like #Steemit keep me inspired for sure.
Everyday I read more about blockchain and crypto, making me know more and more.
Since I have to dedicate time to learn more about the subject, I had to unfortunately sacrifice some things in my life. I have a business with my best friend, so I can't neglect it. But in this first phase of study and learning I have to make space in my schedule. What it scares me, is that it’s becoming very addictive.
I introduced Steemit to my wife, and now she got addicted too =) so we are good. But seriously, I totally understand that when you are committed to get immersed in something new, you have to make some sacrifices, such as going out with friends, reducing time for your hobbies or sports you practice.
I decided to follow the advice of “invest only what you can afford to lose”, so I bought fractions of BTC when its price was at $6,200 back in October. And after a lot of reading, I decided to start trading. It has been very exciting! Before starting to trade, I also invested in knowledge and participated in a great Crypto Trading course in Panama City. It was a good investment for me. For now, my 1 or 2 day profits average is around 15%. I cant write about this without tagging my teacher, my friend @alexanderadnanj

Now I am thinking about investing in a trade bot, so I can spend less time in front of the computer. I guess that would be the next stage. So this means, a bit more reading and studying.
Due to my lack of experience, all I can share now is a list of positive and negative aspects that have influenced on my life in a short time. This is how Cryptocurrency has changed my life:
NEGATIVE:
- Always looking at my phone to check the coinmarket cap.
- Not being able to sleep and dreaming about crypto.
- Spending more hours in front of the screen than I should, especially after a long day of work.
- Forgetting that there is a real life out there, where I can go surf at the beach, do some workout, play with pets, “cuddle” my wife, etc.
POSITIVE:
- Learning a lot about the technology that is and will disrupt everything, The Blockchain!
- Motivating myself to travel to Cyprus to study for a Blockchain and Cryptocurrency academic degree.
- Being able to make money without having to invest from my pocket with platforms like Steemit and Steepshot.
- And most importantly, make new friends. Not only virtually though, but also I join a Panamanian group that gets once a week to “Hold a Beer” in a bar and just talk about crypto.
There is something that not necessarily have influenced on me personally, but I share the happiness with all those persons that have found Steemit and Cryptocurrency, as a new way of income to provide for their families, especially in countries where economies are difficult. Cheers to that!
And finally, to make this story fun, I have decided to share with all of you my Private Keys from my Exodus Wallet in this picture:
They are printed in my tshirt, now you figure it out =)
… this was a joke from the crypto-jokes series.
A crypto hug for everybody!
