Introducing the Steemit world lottery!

It will work kind of like a traditional lottery. Numbers will be picked evey Wednesday and every Saturday @ 9:00p.m. mountain standard time. For now, 4 numbers will picked out of 30 numbers. If no one wins the funds will be carried over to the next drawing. It will continue growing until someone wins then it will start over again. 

In order to enter stememians must upvote the lottery post. Entries submitted without an upvote will be declared invalid. This will ensure that there will only be one entry per Steemit account and will make the jackpots bigger.

Each drawing will be recorded and posted on steemit. For now I will use an app that chooses numbers randomly. In the mean time I will order a lottery ball machine.

Drawings will up to 3 times per session. If the post gets less than 300 upvotes there will only be one drawing. If the post gets more than 300 but less that 600 upvotes there will be 2 drawings if there is not a winner in the first drawing. If the post gets more that 600 upvotes there will be three drawings if no one wins in the first 2. This is to encourage people to share the post in order to make the odds of winning greater. There will only be one winner per session. (Unless more than one person play the same number)

After the drawing I will put everyone's numbers in my spreadsheet, which I have already created, and match the entries to the winning numbers.

The winner of any single drawing will win 40% of the pot. I will keep 25% of the pot for running the lottery and buying promotional giveaways. 35% of the lottery will go to promote Steemit some how. I haven't decided exactly how to use the promotion money but I think it should be a Steemit community decision. So I guess we'll vote on that. 

If anyone would like to hold and oversee the voting process send me a message on Steem chat. If I get more than one response for this position then I will announce who gets the place when I post the second drawing!
