Hey Steemverse friends! Hello again and I hope that your weekend has been fabulous! I always wish there was such a thing as a 3 day weekend, especially for us working Mamas. Time is indeed the most precious commodity and we need to remember to really appreciate it. I was travelling for work and a little pleasure over Friday and Saturday and only got home to Malaysia on Sunday. Unfortunately this weekend I was ill again. This time around, nursing a cold and cough. Sigh, really need to get over this bout of recurring cold and flu. It is only March and so far this year already 3 times! Speaking of which, I hope that you are all in the best of health too.

I am back again to share some easy reads posted over the weekend. I am so glad that I am finding more and more posts to highlight especially this weekend and it has been absolutely enjoyable reading them all. So sit back, go check them out and show them all some love!

A cute little write up inspired by @mariannewest's freewrite prompt during the week. She has a crazy wonderful phone which seems to be (in her own words) a master of taking snapshots on entirely on its own. She even shares the types of snapshots that she finds after a day out. I thought the funniest one was of a dog peeing on a garbage can. Now what are the odds of your mobile phone doing that all on its own? LOL

I do love the freewrite prompts as it helps to unlock some creativity when you are stuck for something to write. I remember last year when I decided to take part in the freewrite party challenge only to be eliminated because I forgot to post the link of my freewrite! Gah... can you believe it? A Friendly Word of Advice to All New Steemians! 😊 by @crosheille

This is really an absolutely marvellous and superbly written post by @crosheille about communities for those new to the Steemverse. As we all know one of key to success ie. staying on the platform and continuing to produce great content here is to get involved in communities. It helps you to make new friends and receive support for the content that you create. So if you are still new and wondering what are communities all about, please do bookmark this, resteem and share with others who are also wondering and a little lost. An upvote would be great too!

I love the way that she reminded and shared with everyone about how communities are built.

All of this is done voluntarily! These sub-communities were built by people who love this plattform and desire to see unity and interaction. They want to see it prosper and grow stronger. The communities and the work that is put into them should not be taken lightly.

Food glorious food! I am always on the lookout for food posts. Yes, it's the Malaysian in me! Most people describe us as the type of people who "live to eat" rather than "eat to live"! LOL

This time our Mama @arrliinn shares about an upmarket middle eastern food restaurant founded in Abu Dhabi. She especially recommends their Saj Shawarma So if you are in the U.A.E and have a craving for delicious Saj Sahwarma go check out this restaurant and give @arrliinn a buzz. I am sure that she will join you for some!

Homeschool Life: How to Make a Whelping Box for Puppies!!! by @thefarmerswife

Our little community of Mamas also feature quite a few homeschooling families and it is wonderful to read all about their projects and learning lessons. I personally love the idea of homeschooling and am working towards making that a reality soon. In this post, our Mama @thefarmerswife shares a video on Dtube. They made their own whelping box for her dog who will be having puppies very very soon! We are so excited and can't wait to see the new additions to the family.

Pictures speak a thousand words indeed. As always I also look out for photos to share too. I particularly like this one for the beautiful blue skies contrasting against the brown bricks of the wedding chapel. I really miss the bright blue skies as most of the time in Malaysia all we get is the grey and white cloudy skyline. I can't wait to head back to NZ for trip as hubs and I are planning for one soon.
