Having served in some high-profile organization and volunteer groups, I've gathered some experience that has equipped me with more leadership qualities.
I've also gathered that leadership is all about serving, and a leader does not go before the people rather, he goes along with them.
As I'm also a youth who is empathic, I know where the shoe pinches most, and I've come to bring a transformational change in the different sectors of the economy putting the youths in the forefront of it all. I have been part of this economy in every sector and I have really seen the heart cry her citizens.a lot needs to be fixed in this country and I believe am fit and ready to right the wrongs, we are facing serious crisis in this present time and it takes only a man who understands seasons and time to make corrections to this tragic occurrences happening in our dear country,almost all the sector of life in our dear country has been damaged
Talk of security; the rate of killings and occurences of kidnap in our country is so alarming and if not attended to , it cause a catastrophic defect to every where in the nation , the most unpleasant part of this whole thing is that it cuts across every nook and cranny of the country
Educational sector;if you are not in a private institution in Nigeria the course you would read for 4yrs would take you 5 even 6years as case may be due to action of strike in the country and is so alarming , even now ,students in federal and state institutions are whiling away time because of so called strike which can be fixed by the government.
The drastic increase in price of goods and services is something else ,and it keeps going up to the place of no return, am picking out these things because am coming from the point of a lay man that just want to survive in the country.
Fuel scarcity; Every body on earth needs fuel either for car, generator, trucks, shops and so on and if it is not looked into it will affect the prices of places in which they are used eg transport: you can't expect a driver that bought fuel for 300naira to carry you with the same price when they bought fuel for 165 or even 87naira
Alot to change in the country but I rest my case here for now
If given the opportunity to become the president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria,
I will ensure the security of the citizens by building a better functioning security structure, and by introducing better technology to the already existing security structure.
The issue of unemployment will be taken care of by ensuring that jobs are made available to the youths who are willing and ready. I will also empower youths to be self-employed by making provisions for trainings and teachings and also giving them the required funds as a way to develop the already learnt skills. I will as well build centres where they can acquire skills including digital skills.
I will see that the management of electricity becomes more decentralized, and we will use the resources at our disposal to ensure a more steady supply of electricity.
I will ensure that teachers and lecturers in the public service are held accountable for proper discharge of their duties, and that they paid and promoted as at when due. There will also be allocation of more funds to the education system.
Pupils and students will be granted scholarships and free education (especially those who cannot afford it).
In conclusion,all these and many more will I do if given the opportunity to be the president. Remember, a leader is one who feels the pains of others and finds a way to relieve them of the pain.
