Sharing my rush artwork. Ballpoint, no room for erasure. face palm
We had this google hang out meeting with the UK peeps and I was asked to talk about my quarantine life. So I checked on the piles of old stuff like literally decade old wedding invitations, party earrings and accessories so I could have materials for my drawing-- couldn't go out to buy anything. We were on strict lockdown.
Those were the times when we weren't only bored and stuck, but also worried as the plans for our December 2020 wedding are slowly getting deleted off our list. We have already visited the resort area for the dream beach wedding, spoke to the resort management, coordinators and even went to Ongpin (worlds's biggest Chinatown) to check their wedding ring designs.
Covid cases began to increase day by day (March 2020) so we had to postpone the beach wedding and focus on our work from home job.
I drew and presented this artwork with closing remarks;
"We may have been stuck with nothing but what we already have, be it food, job, talent -- may we always use these to improve ourselves, and show compassion to one another, because LOVE IS NEVER CANCELLED"
--Kenn
That was a real challenge to draw with pen. You are very good. And that ending thought just hit me -- love is never cancelled. Wow!
