It was hard to take however, I had my subject stand in front of the darkest backdrop I could find, have her stand directly in the brightest sun that summer day.... have someone hold up the backdrop; while someone else was holding a sewer grate type object high enough to project the shadow on the lady's face. I'd say it took about 2 hours to shoot this.
