Fireworks in Malta are a centuries-old tradition which goes back to the time of the Order of the Knights of St John. I got this image at the Malta International Fireworks Festival. This shot was taken over the Grand Harbour of Valletta.
Image Details: Nikon D40, Nikkor 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6G ED II, f/4.5, 1/3 sec, 18 mm ISO 800.
I think its a nice photo but that not special. Keep up the good work

Maybe you mean 'but not that special' @battlefieldtours? I don't really get your English there... But if that's the case, as a professional photographer I can tell you for sure that it is quite special, fireworks are one of the most difficult subjects to photograph successfully and every photographer's nightmare... Therefore, I'm cutting you some slack about this comment because I see you're new on steemit ;) And welcome by the way!! :)

Thank you! I know...nice, good and special are not all the same. Will be striving to capture much better shots in the future. :)

Beautiful photo! Fireworks on water are always amazing, capturing them well is not easy! Great job, my friend!

Thank you very much! It was my first proper try at this but now that I have much better gear and more knowledge I think I need to track down some new fireworks display at some point soon. :)
