An unusual storm for Ohio

Menacing storm clouds, like the ones from the plains, aren't common in southeastern Ohio. Here along the Ohio River, we are in an area referred to as the 'foothills of the Appalachians'. This terrain has a tends to somewhat spread or even split storms that have come from the flat lands of West Central Ohio (Dayton)
