Wang Temple in Karpacz

It was built at the turn of the twelfth and thirteenth centuries. In southern Norway, in the town of Vang, Vang lakeside. Hence derives its name.

Churches mullion-skeletal disorders are the pre-eminent contribution to Norway in the world history of architecture. In the Middle Ages they were built in many countries of northwestern Europe. In the same Norway, there were at least 1,000 such churches. After the Reformation in 1537, many of them were demolished and replaced with larger sacred buildings. Wang church was built on the model of the finest examples of Scandinavian wooden church architecture and is a priceless work of art of the ancient Norse. Temple is made of Norwegian pine, which, saturated with resin exhibits outstanding durability.

Half small columns, which are decorative door frame, carved faces the Vikings - warriors of the forward split languages, symbolizing the transfer of knowledge and wisdom to the next generation.

@anns Unfortunately, the temple is not so easy to enter :(
