WE STAND ALONE ALL TOGETHER
Dedicated in Memory for Our Mom

We stand alone all together for

Every breaking moment

We live a life for you in

Every waking moment

To carry on the memories

Of an unbreakable bond

Through our growing days

To give thanks to you Mom

A Mom that lived a life of

Hurt, pain, deception and grief

Left an unbroken bond we share

With sadness, tears, and disbelief

We stand alone all together

For you Mom no matter whether

You were here but now you're there

In a better place with love and care.

MY LIFE AS A POET ENDED--TO ONLY COME BACK WITH STRENGTH

I was totally dedicated to poetry all my life. All my poems were created by daily thoughts that came to my mind, what my feelings were at a moment, world happenings, life, love, and happiness, memory dedications of a love one, times of hurt and pain, and many others that surrounded my life and love ones. Very few were not centered around my views and thoughts. After my mom passed away, last time speaking to her, no signs of life response and unfortunately that last day she was able to speak to me was on my Day of birth, on April 20, 2008. I tried to hang on, but it was nothing but a mental shutdown and locked in my home for approximately 6 months. Shut everyone out of my life, accepting no phone calls or visitors. This poem basically referred to myself and siblings and to this day 1/9/2018, it remains the same. This poem was written for myself and on behalf of my Siblings for true reasons of, "We stand alone at a distance lacking knowledge of the whereabouts of each other since then". Although, the togetherness we had in our growing up years, reassures me that in our hearts, we are still all together. Unable to deal with the loss of such a good mom, I could only write about my mom and what I was feeling. And then one day could not create poetry anymore even after trying. Therefore, my writing abilities were mentally shutdown for about seven years. However, I have begun to write Poetry again, mostly about Reality and Visions, and Life in general. To be positive, face reality, and be strong to accomplish visions ahead, is what my mom instilled in me during my growing years and prior to her demise. I have now a positive vision to focus on finishing what I started with my Poetry Career. And utilize the gift I have. To also, continue to maintain my Professional Honors and Awards and Title accomplishments from the Professional Poets Association, Who’s Who in Poetry, and the National Poet’s Association of Distinguished Poets. My honors included, but not limited to, were, Distinguished Poet, Exemplary Poet, Author, Editor, Publisher, Writer, Publish Books Signer, Editor Critic, 17 Best Poet Awards, Poet Promoter and Poet Affiliate
