Do you still remember your childhood memories? The child who play in a wide play ground , roaming around together with playmates, hanging on the swing and run up for the slide. The ordinary and innoscent child of yesterday, full of joy that finds its happiness in a simple things. That's the children of old generation, full of adventure and satisfying pictures of an ordinary child.

Very far from the children in the current generation, who revolves their life with modern technology. Children are fond of using modern gadgets rather than playing with their playmates. Gadgets serve as their playing groud. No time for finding friends because they are distructed by this innovation. Look how technology affects the way of socialization of mankind specially the children. We are fed by this modern attraction that blinds us from the real happiness. Being with friends and enjoying the day without the intervention of this modern technology.

Sad but that 's the reality. We can't go back from the old days where children find happiness from their playmates, not in technology. We are bombarded a lot of innovation and forgot simple way of finding geniune happiness.

Thank you for reading and have a good day.

Our Nanay and Tatay ( @lovenfreedom and @iamstan) only lets us get on the computer to play a little bit. Most of the time if we turn on the computer it's for school work. In Steemit, I can't do it alone, I have to be with Nanay or Tatay.

Tatay said I can have a phone only if I save money to buy one.

I take care of the chickens and keep them from getting all over the place. We have vines in the woods that my little sister, little brother and I use to hang and swing. It's fun to play outside! We get dirty a lot.

Most children are like what you are talking about. Very few kids are like us?

And i know you miss that moment right?playing outside and going home dirty.haha.been there too @futurefarmers. This generation there are few who loves doing the things what we had before, but most of them prefer to use this technology.

Very well said @jasonabejero. This brings me back my childhood memories before just running and playing outside with my friends and playmates. Some of the games we played outside the streets before are Patintero, Tumbang Preso, Tsato, Taguan Pong, Sipa, Trumpo, Holen, among others.... All of these sports and games I mentioned required running which really contributes in the loco-motor development and attributes much to the physical well-being of any individual. Saddest part is we haven't introduced these kinds of games to our siblings and our children of today. They were all hooked to the advanced technologies brought about by gadgets like computers, cellphones and the like. How I wish those childhood games of ours before may be revived in this modern world.... Don't you think so?

Yes @dan16,totally agree. We have to teach our children those games that requires movement of their body and not by means of gadgets. Aside that its good for their body, it also preserve our culture .

I was a child in the 1960's and played on farms and in parks. We had a B&W TV but did not watch in much. Things as so different now, and probably not for the best. I'm coming to you from @kryptonia with the same user name.

True @fitinfun, so different. Thank you for sharing your thought.

Totally man. I can relate to that. Those were the best memories of life. So much fun and freedom. I miss my childhood days.

Indeed @suho, those are the best memories that give us real happiness.

Very true.

I wish I could have my childhood back 😑

So do I @zhayie03, miss those days

Oh, i remember my childhood days, i miss it too, no many worries.. Hehe

Haha.. yes totally true @joyce86.

Thank you for posting! As a teacher, I could not agree more. My school has had devices for a few years now. We've learned the pros and cons. Recently, the principal sent out an email saying no devices during indoor recess. My students were outraged. I realized, they just didn't have any ideas for games. I taught them Uno, how to throw paper balls at a tile on the floor (think harmless bocce ball) etc. Now they don't even ask to get on their computers.

Don't forget to teach your children to play!

Thank you @musingsteacher. we have our own views regarding this topic. I appreciate the benefits that technology brings us. I'm just trying to point out the culture of the older generation that's been slowly forgotten because of technology. Maybe it would be a good idea if technology can reinforce our culture so our future generations can still experience what we had.

I totally loved your post @jasonabejero.

Thank you @floridagypsy ,well appreciated😄

Thank you.

So true.. I miss those days.. One day I ask my eldest son who is 12 years old if he knows the game Doctor Quak quak (my favorite childhood game lol.) he just look at me as if im saying different language that he cant understand..

Those old days are awesome but now a days i think the games that we play in our childhood days will be replaced by this gadgets. And sad to say, those things that we love to do in our childhood will no longer be recognized by new generation.

Childhood memories are the best. Genuinely happy, no worries to think...

Yes. I definitely agree! I miss the old days, when almost all kids in the neighborhood is out playing "tumba lata, get in, tago-tagoay"!!!

But now, it is seldom to see children playing thise games we play before.
