Ingredients

  • 3 apples
  • ½ lemon;
  • 80 g of raisins;
  • 2 tablespoons butter;
  • 5 tablespoons of sugar;
  • vanilla sugar - to taste;
  • 500 g puff pastry ;
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon;
  • 3 tablespoons ground almonds.

Cooking

Cut the peeled apples into small cubes and pour over the lemon juice. Raisins can be pre-soaked in boiling water and left to swell, while preparing other ingredients.

Melt half the butter in a pan over medium heat. Put apples there. Pour 3 tablespoons of sugar and mix. Stew the fruits, stirring occasionally, for several minutes until liquid is evaporated from them. At the end, add vanilla sugar and raisins.

Roll the dough into a rectangle. Combine the remaining sugar, cinnamon and almonds. Melt the remaining oil and use almost everything to grease the dough, slightly backing away from the edges of the rectangle. Sprinkle with cinnamon mixture.

Put the apple filling along the short edge of the dough without going into the non-oiled parts. Gently twist the strudel, simultaneously pinching the edges.

Place the workpiece on a baking sheet covered with parchment. Oil the dough and make a few punctures with a fork. Place in an oven preheated to 180 ° C for 40 minutes.
