(Steemit School Poetry | 100 Day Challenge | Day 3) NO WIFI HERE

no wifi here 2.jpg

Since yesterday (Day 2), I chose to write poetry straight in English (which is not my mayor), not a transliteration from my origin language. It takes all my effort and time, and might devour my energy. But I hope in the process, I will learn much, much more about everything.
Here is my 3rd submission:

NO WIFI HERE

(1)

Pine cone drifted by the wind,
down far to the fisherman’s boat side
upon the barnacles, closely facing white sand—
of the sandy beach; unto the tide.

island in between the mangrove forest,
the wind slams the waves of the sea,
the old curly lighthouse; singing in chorus,
a windwood orchestra from cedar tree.

The outrigger boat swaying, swinging,
alley from blasting thorn spines eroded slowly--
coming home, reluctantly shifted missing;
flying gulls calling pelicans pelas lazy.

     drip chill breath.
     mark a chill breath.

(2)

seated hunkered under shadow of leaves,
a teenager, her lips clashing sturdy
square chin haughty, hiding all grieves
a perfect girl, protagonist in a fantasy story.

care not of salty, dark water splash
the silent scream from entangled knee
the beating heart begging for air blast
spur the panting piercing wide sea.

with no intention, shout out to anyone,
drifted, pulled over by the waves,
her feet crushed flat pine cone—
send a painful shock to the nerve.

     open mouth, shouted;
     but, alas, I doubted.

(3)

stunned in amazement, she crossed—
the boundary of the torrent sea
seeking the magnitude of holocaust,
through the pine thorn sharp and pithy.

     she grazed the sophisticated application,
from the bed, scratched the fingers.
typing password, knocks on the screen,
‘fore she realized, no WiFi signal near her.

pine cone drifted by the wind,
down far to the fisherman’s boat side
upon the barnacles, closely facing white sand—
of the sandy beach; unto the tide.

     drip chill breath.
     open mouth: breath.

This is an epic piece, @ayahkasih, you crushed this!

You can really see your experience with poetry shine through the composition of this piece, it' almost impossible to tell that english is your second language, you did such a great job with the translation.

the use of imagery to set the scene and guide the reader, strong lines carrying storytelling elements and consistent pacing (both visually and with your lines) was excellent.

Great piece, mate, the effort really shows through.

Coming from you, I feel like rocketing to the moon.

Thank you, mate! I really appreciate this 😊

wouldn't say it if I didn't mean it, good sir, will continue to come back and read your writings every here and there through the journey - thank you for sharing and joining.

Memang menarik membaca para kontestan 100 hari berpuisi. Selamat. Saya suka
