I was cast into the deep, in the midst of the seas

Floods compassed me about, billows and waves passed over me

The waters compassed me about, the weeds wrapped about my head

I went to the bottoms of the mountain,the earth with her bars was about me

I dwelt in desolate cities, in houses which no one inhabits

I was filled with wrinkles, which is a witness against me

I was tagged a beast, and reputed vile in the sight of men

I was driven into darkness, and chased out of the world

You came along, my fears were casted off

You granted me life again, my soul got preserved

You gave me hope, my heart got renewed

You taught me, my mentality about the world changed

I will not refrain my mouth from speaking the goodness you have done

I will not withhold this goodness which you have shown me
