The Butterfly Effect, poetry by @naquoya.

Day 32 of 100 for @d-pend's Poetry Challenge

The Butterfly Effect

A butterfly flaps her wings
because it's what she does.
But apparently life
will never be the same
again.

So much power
in one so small.
Seems like a lesson in there.
Perhaps the butterfly
is a symbol
for us all?

A butterfly knows her ways
and argues not with the changes
that reveal themselves,
in time.

Because all changes reveal themselves,
in time.

What a beautiful poetry. Combination nice pict make this poem is great!

Thank you :)

Everything has it's time season and own reason

I've read this quote somewhere and it's closely the same to the Butterfly Effect.

I know King Solomon from the Bible talked about that a lot. All things have their season. Life can be cyclical like that.

It is. :) Just got to enjoy the ride while doing so.

The butterfly is a wonder of nature. In addition to beauty, the change it symbolizes gives new life to flowers.

Yes they are very symbolic little creatures, aren't they?

We should all strive to be like a butterfly. It's such a magnificent creature, that it has inspired millions of literary compositions. From breaking in onto a wheel, to it being the cause of hurricanes, butterflies have often been a symbol of transformation to something different. If only we are all just caterpillars in this mortal shell of ours.

Yes, the Butterfly has helped out an author with an appropriate symbolic meaning on many occasions. Where would we be without them? The idea of the Butterfly Effect intrigues me though. How real it is i don't know, but the analogy to greater things is helpful.

Why, we would be in the space between the blind eternities, that's where!

The Butterfly Effect is very real though.. because science.

Every breath you inhale and exhale, however imperceptibly, affects the world - everything and everyone matters, is part of the design!

And that's what restores my faith each day in that very design. Who we are, and what we do does matter, somehow.

Oooh, I LIKE it! Very deep and yet light... somehow. Great poem.

Getting a deep message across in a light manner is a neat trick. Wish I could do it more often. Thanks for your comment :)

It can be a tricky thing to do! You're most welcome. With practice maybe you'll develop the skills to do it more often, since you obviously have the talent.
