I am corporeal …
melded to the sanguine
iron-blooded
constructed skeletal
encased in flesh
conceived by the carnal
bound to earthly veins and pulled by desires
I am corporeal
I am a ghost, a changeling
lost, looking for a sire
feeling my way
heavy and clumsy
crushing underfoot tender things
grieving their demise
condemning my own passing
confused, distorted, by a lack of understanding
I am a changeling
I am mind
shapeless
limitless
boundless
existing beyond
yet to be forged

Thank you, Queen. I am finding the 93 poems in 100 days a challenge. I usually like to sit on a poem for a few days and play around with it, get it just right to my estimation; so I am never sure how these quicker writes are going to turn out:) I appreciate your reassurance:):):) I do:)

I would not agree to those terms. lol As poetry is defiantly not my strong suit. I struggle to even post one thing a week let alone 97 poems in 100 days.

It's same with me... When i have to write within some minutes... I prefer to get my inspirations from my mood and now that has changed.. getting a new one everyday. Is a great challenge considering the fact that i'm only a beginer. I guess we have to stay focused.afterall that is why it's called "challenge" 😂

Love the transitions from I am / I am a / I am.
Your words hark of a prison, then, when some would say a release from the corporeal would be a naturally release from these bonds, a show and awareness to a continued ungainliness in still existing within the boundaries of the 'a'.
I feel the cyclical nature of this poem, I think, the recycling of energy through the conscious and subconscious journey of being and to be.

This is epic! I really love the different ways you arrange your writing here... I don't know why spacing is so effective, but it really adds a lot of extra depth to the writing.
