'Longing to Move'

Oh I long to be on the road again,
to not really know where I'm going
but only where I've come from.
To feel myself growing
with this freedom to follow the sun
To allow myself to be at one,
with the choices my heart makes
in which direction we go.
Oh to have that freedom
to believe and know,
that when we surrender
our voices grow,
when we are more open to change
then we become more engaged
with the natural flow
in moving forward and letting go.
And I still have my roots
wherever I roam,
Because for me this planet
is my one true home.

Notes

I consider myself to be a intermediate poet.

This poem is self explanatory really, but our housetruck needs some mechanical work so we are unable to move, Oh but I long too.

Thank you so much @d-pend for creating this challenge and making me take t the time daily to be creative and expressive. I am all the better for this. I am really happy to have made it this far. I have never had any input with my poetry before, it has always come straight from my heart, on to paper and more recently here on to steemit

I love this poem. I feel homesick a lot but not for my hometown. I have been away for so long that I have no home there anymore. I've been around the world enough times to hate traveling. I'm looking for another home outside of this world.

I used to have this album signed by Pete Townsend along with ticket stubs but I lost them somewhere in a move. Missing the things we can't have just gets me hung up.
